Anything fictitious does not promote anything real. In fact some consider absurdities in entertainment to be therapeutic. Venting emotions through games, music or movies helps balance me out on a bad day for sure.

With the insane lineup they have for the rest of this gen they're going out with a bang no matter how you arrange it. But I personally would do god of war, day's gone, and Detroit this year, spiderman, dreams, and ghost of tsushima next year, and TLOU 2, death stranding, and FF7 remake in 2020. It's legendary no matter how you look at it but that would be my move.

Damn right I do, digital distribution is excellent and most definitely the future but they just haven't worked out the kinks. Once we can play digital games offline physical discs will be bargain bin next to dvds.

All I know is there is some very high expectations on this and I'd be stressed out like crazy with that much pressure. The first one had some of the best gameplay, storytelling, and character development in gaming history. I was so blown away by the first one that I immediately thought a sequel would be a mistake as it could only taint the series. We'll see if Druckmann can pull the rabbit out of the hat.

No one's denying that it's better hardware, but that doesn't change the fact that it's futility in physical form. To even have a chance of noticing the difference requires a specific high end set up that most don't even care to have. And the games that are being gloated about being 'superior' are long and forgotten.
