Ps3 wasn't arrogance at all. It was them leaping too far ahead in tech assuming the industry would be willing to pay and keep up. They still outdid the competition in every way but sales as they fell victim to a year late start and countless Microsoft marketing schemes.
I hated it at first but its growing on me. It's a unneeded strap on feature to give the impression of more depth. Kind of like when they add open world mechanics to an ultimately linear game. The leveling up system in the new tomb raider games comes to mind, more tedious than innovative.
Agreed, it wasn't an unbearable game but far from what the series was supposed to be
2020 at the absolute earliest. Unless some of their forecast are actually ps5 launch titles a 2019 launch would be so counterproductive
Or you could do something insane and just keep your ps4.....just a thought
Discless as an option is a great idea, I'd support it. But going exclusively discless is flat out suicide.
Sonys monster grand finale of games have already been revealed, other than confirmed release dates and new trailers there's not much to show. And Sonys actual comments on this suggest that they are by no means disregarding a public event entirely but are going to spice it up with something creative this year.
Lmao bringing the games? Which games are those I wonder? We're getting to the tail end of this gen and if one thing is abundantly clear it's that Microsoft most definitely did NOT 'bring the games'.
Give Michael Myers some love this time, way better than Freddy or Jason
I'm waiting for the 512 GB to come out, and if not the 400 GB will be less than 100 soon enough
Definitely buying this day one, even though I know I'll be a sucker for the inevitable limited edition consoles they release later.
Cant really blame them I guess, people gladly bought GTA 5 2-3 times so it would be a brilliant move for them to pull the same stunt with GTA 6
Knew spiderman was a long shot, oh well
Same here, I'm gonna wait till black Friday is over before buying just in case they do a sale. Highly unlikely as the game is selling like crazy but I have enough of a backlog to keep me busy until then.
These doom and gloom comments are hilarious. The only negative thing that could possibly happen from this is some of their exclusive lineup got cancelled and they're trying to fix it before making announcements they'd have to take back. Sony has a complete grip on this gen in every way and skipping an event in itself does no damage to their control over every portion of the market.
Bingo, they're completely untouchable lineup is already known to the public and the only move they can really make now is to elaborate on these games. Then the inevitable 'boooring we already knew about these games' responses will come out from their competitors/opposes so until they have something explosive show like more extensive gameplay or release dates they're just wasting their time.
Journalism at its finest.....
Lol exactly, one of the worst double standards
That's intense, and a little nerve wracking. I really hope there's a logical reason why. They have at least 7 major exclusives coming up, either none of them are gonna be ready or they're holding some of them off for a major ps5 launch.
Oh my God shuuuuut uuuuuup
