Realistically probably only Dreams and Days Gone will be out next year. No way in hell death stranding, ghost of tsushima, TLOU 2, or FF7 remake will be out next year. Those are all definitely 2020 or later
This was my exact thoughts going through RDR 1. Jack's existence was so loosely tied to the already shallow story of that game. I thought there would be some weird plot twist at the end where Jack either wasn't John's son or just never actually existed at all and John was just nuts.

The entire Uncharted series has fantastic characters, storytelling, and gameplay. If any franchise had the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' thing down perfect it was uncharted. Every sequel doesn't need to switch up its gameplay mechanics to stay relevant, God of war needed it because the franchise was stale as all hell and needed a fresh start. A God of war sequel would obviously get an open arms welcome but I would love to see them put out a new game. Show they have diversity and don't need to cling to a single franchise that's what elevates the great developers above the rest.
A week before the game is released, and leave the review open for adjustments so the company can release future patches to fix whatever may have been wrong at launch
