Only nintendo can dress up a handheld with a dock (when all you need is a power cable and tv out cable), call it a "hybrid home console", charge the same as other 8th gen consoles but its fans chant its 9th gen (even tho it cant run 99.9999% of AAA 3rd partys from a gen prior to it), only come stock with 32 gb of storage (no explanation needed), charge 69.99 for a pro controller (yall nintendo ppl know damn well thats 20-30$ easy overpriced), and only nintendo can flash a list of 3r...

Agreed, id also agree most games (except skyward sword) before botw were much better. Wind waker, twilight princess, majoras mask, ocarina of time, links awakening, and a link to the past were all better gameplay, story, and bosses wise than botw... But that my opinion. Also... The lands in botw felt empty and not as lifelike, the enemies were pretty much all the same with fewer varients and the bosses just werent as epic
Twilight princess to me was just another version of ocarina of time just with a different story, midna, and the wolf wheres botw was a completely overhauled game like oot with everything feeling fresh and new... I imagine the next zelda will be similar to botw but more dungeons, varied combat, varied enemies.
If you only played it for a bit how can you judge the whole game? Rarely games of this genre get the blood pumping and feeling of desperation and looming impending death. Maybe these types of games arent for everybody but i like them.
Yes nintendo had amazing rpgs (secret of mana, legend of gaia, 7th saga, ect) and ff games before it but none of them matched **everything** ff7 offered. FF7 was a leap over anything before it. Not just some incremental progression...

Not the only one... FF7 is just where many gamers had their first experience with FF. Also, FF7 was an evolution in gaming on so many front annd it was easilly a 9.5-10 by so many critics and gamers alike... Every FF after just seemed to ride on the laurels of 7... Not to say they werent amazing i love 7, 8, and 9 but 7 is a greater nostalgia level in comparison.
This is the only game that looks truly amazing outside zelda... Been playing mario for too damn long to get hype for it. If they announced a new golden sun or pikmin my head would go 😵
