Its no secret, the gaming community, third party game makers, and the industry have been left with bad tastes in their mouths for quite some time. When you consider all three of those things at once,you start to understand why people "hate" nintendo. My last fav nintendo console was the gamecube. But even then i could see where they made mistakes that others were able to capitalize on.

The only flaw in your reasoning is that historically, nintendo hasnt catered to third party games since before the gamecube. Also the fact most people who support nintendo consoles mostly buy nintendo first parties. Third party support and sales of the said games are things that progressivly get better after each generation of catering to these gamers. Do you guys remember that tech demo of zelda they showed before the wiiu was released... As we all know it was obsurdly off as to what the U could do. At any rate, id like to see a console from nintendo pushing that level or realism.

Lmao, look at all them disagrees. I agree, to me the wiiu is still over priced for what youre getting. Last xmas i got my sister the mk bundle for 300 along with wind waker hd. After a couple weeks she stopped playing it than i borrowed it for a couple weeks and then also quit playing it. Splatoon was ok but it really felt dated. I enjoyed xenoblade chronicles, mario maker and... Thats about it. I hope the nx has a stronger showing of first party and third party games to get me excited about ...

Ditto bro. I go where my games will look and play the best. Last gen from the start till about 3/4 of the way through i only played 3rd parties on my 360. Its nice to see ps4 take it old school like ps1, ps2 days and totally dominate the competition

You state things that are false that the *general masses* (majority) deem to be true about gen 8 consoles. Ok lets pretend here for a second the xb1 costs more to develope than the ps4... Where are the results? The public notices cold hard facts. The ps4 was $100 cheaper the the xb1, displayed higher graphics than its competition, and did not fumble the ball so hard it was cringe worthy. I could care less, i just like to see the comments ppl make with stupid pointless articles such as these. It doesnt help the xb1 when most games run at a higher resolution then the xb1. I know the xb1 is slowly but surely changing this fact, it just doesnt help the general consensus in believing that the ps4 was not only more powerful out the gate, but cheaper too.
My thoughts is that the xb1 should have never cost more than the cost of the ps4 even with kinnect. They should have launched the xb1 without kinnect for around 300-350.
What does that have to do with anything they've said that it was going to come out last year and you see how that turned out. Only reason why i think this is because you dont need to be an Einstein to see its either getting ported to the nx, simultaneously on nx and wiiu, or skipping the wiiu all together. If its getting simultaneously released, the nx most likely wont ship till spring or summer 2017 and thats when zelda will come. Mark my words

You should have no problems picking this up and playing it. I do prefer dark souls to bloodborne. Ds3 seems to have the same art style as bb and a few other things. This looks much different than a souls game but more like a ds bb hybrid. To me that makes ds lose some of its identity. Ill wait till i have this in my hands before i cast full judgment, its still up there on my top 5 most anticipated games of 2016.

Well said, a lot ppl seem to forget, or they did not shell out 600$ for a ps3 like i did. The ps3 was so stripped down it would take 2-3 years before it become the content rich and extra bells and whistles we know today. Nintendo is already fukt as far as this gen goes in my opinion. They would be better off sticking to the wiiu and waiting till at least 2019 to release the nx. As it would be greater than a 2017 release all around. The funny thing is if nintendo had at least 25 mil console sales... We wouldnt even be having this conversation.
Supringly enough i can still play all these games and never get bored. Super metroid being my favorite then the prime series. I would be fine with a remake, another brand new edition side scroller, orr metroid prime 4. If zelda and metroid launched with the nx id get one so fast ppls heads would spin. Nope, i agree with hoffman. You clearly praise anything nintendo while smearing the others. Its ok to love nintendo, just most of the stuff you say is supported by the minority.
