You are right. Far Cry has a great open world sand-box game and Halo has a rich, deep and fun multiplayer experience and pretty good single player as well. Real gamers would get both, only the fanboys would make this into a fan war
The only thing Steam has going for it are its games collections and frequent sales on its store. But xbox live > steam when it comes to the social aspects of gaming, so party voice chat etc etc. Heck most people would rather use Ventrillo, and teamspeak over the voice features built into steam and those cost money. You get what you pay for.
And LOL at the fanboys complaining about $5 a month. Unless your still unemployed and still live in your mommies basement, $5 is noth...

The deals here in Canada are crap. Not worth it tbh. Only decent ones are like Dishonored for like $29.99 and Forza Horizon and Playstation All Stars for $19.99 each.
Some are wrong Bully is only 740 MP, in the marketplace, not 1080. I am in Canada so it might be different in other places

Skyrim for example is a multi-platform game. But it does not change the fact its an xbox game, a ps3 game, a pc game etc etc
Jade Empire 2? It was a great game but cmon everyone has been begging Bioware for making Knights of the Old Republic 3!!! Mass Effect and Dragon Age does not even compare to those 2 games, and The Old Republic MMO has been a disaster.
Also do not see the need of Microsoft and Sony changing their controllers, they are really good the way they are. Adding a touch screen would just make them more bulky and gimmicy
When i still had my PS3 I experiences almost no lag in servers in the US east coast where I reside. It is a good experience
Unlock system is not bad since you unlock everything so early. Only guns you need are the DMR / BR and those are lvl 2 unlocks
I agree with you even though I am enjoying Halo 4. For one they have not balanced armor abilities and just added more bullshit. Armor lock was terrible and so is active Camo. In Halo 4 just guys hiding in corners with Camo on.

Because asking us to pay $60 for a 6 hour campaign is stupid. Having a good multiplayer mode does not even take away from the single player experience either. Halo, Half-Life, Gears of War, Uncharted, Starcraft to name a few with good multiplayer and singleplayer. All it takes is effort, most of the bad multiplayer this gen is because they were COD copies and tacked on the last minute due to laziness
COD1, COD2 and COD4 were some the best games ever. Oh have the mighty have fallen. You can thank Activision for that
LOL Halo CE was was way better than AVP2, Ghost Recon or Wolfenstein. Halo PC even plays better than those games.
People bought Halo because it was one of the best shooters available at the time and a staple for LAN Parties. People bought an XBOX FOR Halo, not the other way around, not because it was the only good shooter available. Heck ghost recon came out on xbox and still did not make a dent in Halo's popularity. Further those 3 series are practically dead nowadays.

Doesn't add to the game? Makes game more immersive. Now you can use voice commands to control line changes in NHL for example or call out pick and rolls in NBA 2k on the fly, without removing your fingers off the sticks. If you swear at the ref then you will get punished just like in real life where coaches and players get carded (soccer) or recieve a penalty (hockey) for disrespecting the ref. And its not just sports games, gives lots of options for developers in other different genres. ...
