No new weapons to go alongside map packs? They already copy and pasted weapons from previous games such as the vecktor (Exact same skin and animations) into BOII what stops them from at least doing another copy and paste job? $15 for just 4 - 5 maps is a rip-off

The original Infinity Ward were great developers. MW1 was one of the best games this gen and MW2 could have been great if they fixed the multiplayer balance issues. I believe if the whole IW and Activision drama did not happen MW2 would have been fixed but who knows. The current IW is just a shadow of its former self with most of the core team gone and it shows in MW3, which is by far the most forgettable of Call of Duty games
LOL only thing you got were new maps. We get new weapons, vehicles, camo, game modes etc on top of the new maps that came with it. All for the same price
And the new BF3 maps were not simply quick copy and paste jobs either

Call of Duty 4 was great. Assassins Creed 2 was great. Resident Evil 4 was great.
COD4 is a timeless multiplayer classic. A lot of people still play it on all consoles especially on PC. I play on PC but i would still play it on my PS3 if it wasn't for the hacked lobbies.
Sadly every COD game after COD4 did not live up to the same sort of quality however

LOL that Halo Map Pack WAS priced at $20. I remember getting it at retail back in the day. Yahh that is a stretch calling a map pack a full retail game when you needed the full game to play on its content.

LOL this author is a moron. Comparing an Western FPS to a JRPG? Last time I checked every one lambasted MW2's story line, no one at least came out saying that MW2, MW3 or Black Ops had one of the best stories ever. If he wants to look at shooters that are actually praised for their storyline he should have looked at Bioshock or Half Life 2... 2 games that have better stories than anything Japan has produced and are timeless masterpieces.

I never had a problem with it either. In fact only reason why I used it and a majority of people use it is to avoid bullshit deaths from overpowered killstreaks, while I go around hunting people and playing the objective.
I always assume there is someone just around the corner/in the room I do not rely on the mini-map. That is how you play smart and how winners play. Do that and you will never be taken by surprise.
