When people say Video Games are NOT art... you show them Half Life 2 and they change your their minds. COD4 does not have the same effect.
Multiplayer is not the only part of a game.
Unlocking cosmetic things such as skins or armor is not bad. But perks and weapon unlocks suck. Halo 4 isn't bad because you can unlock the best stuff early on. The only weapon I unlocked is the DMR, really the only weapon you need. Reminds me of the Halo 1 pistol from the good ole days
LOL Halo 4 and borderlands has garnered more critical acclaim than Black Ops 2. Its obvious Halo 4 will not sell more since its an xbox exclusive, though both games are pretty close on the 360. BO2 sold 6 million, Halo 4 sold 4 million. Which isn't bad

Scavenging for weapons + ammo is part of Halo, forces you to explore the world and to be good with an assortment of human, covenant and forunner weapons.
Master Chief is on a hostile planet that has not been discovered yet by humanity, of course their won't be weapons and ammo laying around lolol
I am surprised how well Half Life 2 has aged. Released in 2004 (last gen) still think it looks better than most games that are just releasing now.
Got the game early, did a speed run of the campaign. My opinion the story is stupid and so non-sensical. The COD story has been bad since MW2 but in this game its way over the top. easily the worst story in the series. Tries to be smart ends up being stupid. so stupid its actually pretty comical.
Not surprised... Halo 4 isn't a dating sim. Though Cortana having bigger breast now than in previous iterations kind of hints 343's attempt to appeal to the Japanese market.
I actually doubt it. PS4 and the next xbox have not been even revealed yet. Lets say the reveal it at E3 so you are telling me they will be okay with having only 5 months to advertise it for the coming holiday season? I remember the 360 and PS3 were hyped for a year after they got announced before they were released

Mehh. 4gb Xbox is $199 but the 250GB is $249 here in Canada. Its more worthwhile just spending the extra $50 like what I am planning to do

According to VGchartz (so take it with a grain of salt) Halo 4 actually had higher pre-orders than Black Ops 2 on the Xbox360. So sales on the xbox360 of both games will be closer than alot of us imagine.

the problem with gamers and reviewers these days is that they are so used to Call of Duty and most games copying COD that they assume that when a game is unique and different from COD it is automatically a bad game that the game refuses to get with the times. I call bullshit

naww. only reason traditional consoles like the PS3 and XBOX have exclusives is so they can move and sell their console hardware.
Doesn't make sense for Valve to make their games exclusive to PC because most PC gamers won't play on a 'valve console', so Valve derives no benefit from it from a business point of view
