I prefer sony over MS but even I can see that this is a case of artistic style vs realism/graphics. I'm not huge on halo but it is a real good game rock on x dudes props were it's due.

Correct bloody and MS called that next gen and people bought it hook line and sinker even though there wasn't much improvement from xbox 1 until 1 year later with gears and then it was touted for another year until bioshock. So after two years it's a score of 2 next gen games. On the other hand ps3 is less than a year with Heavenly Sword, and Lair say what you want about length and controls but it least it took less than 2 years :)
I popped in dark cloud 2 today one of my favorites. It looks awesome with the upscaling. Then I realized all the drawn type anime games don't show as much graphical age as realistic style and there are still allot of those out there that are phenomenal. Graphics can be ok as long as the game is fun.
Fair point spastic I'm just saying going to the next gen isn't about sales or games library to a hardcore gamer it's about games that couldn't be done last gen and increased quality of games. People just throw credit at MS like they've really been showing something since launch. I just think that putting out a system and not pushing what it can do for such a long time is ridiculous. Very interesting but unfornately you'll never see this get any story time on n4g. I figured this might happen but hoped it wouldn't. In the end though I don't think it matters because fanboys can't be convinced that they're being cheated and if you have the other console you don't care anyway.
Sony is not aloud to take time on this site. It should be just like xbox and spit the game out of the disk tray as soon as you think hey that's a good idea for a game. Sony will never be as good though. I'm gonna go back to playing my Halo3 and Mass Effect.

10 million by end of q1 2008 is a pretty big goal. I don't know if I see this happening or not. It's gonna take a pretty significant price cut. If 399 is the price point I'd say 7 to 9 million range but I don't know about 10.
good point resi but I think it depends on if the price cut comes before or after those releases not as far as endgame but as far as speed of hitting the goal on time.

I disagree with both DJ and XI. Halo will sell some consoles and if you think everybody who wants FF and MGS had the money to buy at launch or at first price cut you're either not very smart or your sarcastic with a poor grasp of analogy.
People are waiting for Halo from MS but no one is really waiting for a price cut. Sony fans are waiting for their games and a price cut.
