and 3 whored out the story for the multi player and sucked up the series
I thought halo 3 was very overrated but halo 1 was a masterpiece.
The thing that makes the hardcore blind MS fanboys argument illogical is there stance. They argue as if they have won a generation when they lost last gen and this one is not over. The question is not what Sony lied about to sell a system this gen they already have a huge fan base anyway. It is what is MS lying about to try to get some of Sony's market share. Two things from a huge sony fan
1. Kudos to MS for it's market penetration this gen that's undeniable even though I don't like the 360 business model they now have enough fan base to make a dent in any generation.
2. We really aren't going to see the ps3 shine until MS next model due to disc space and disc space alone which is sad but at the same time is good to know that I won't have to buy a new machine for awhile when games make that leap.

Doesn't it say something about a platform when you have to go back a generation to justify it's reliability and business model. Original Xbox had it right. I don't know what they were thinking building a next gen machine off the inferior model of the previous gen. Why would you gain a fan base that liked the Xbox model and then sell them the ps2 model next gen.

I to was an original xbox fan but went with ps3. It seems funny to me that all these media sites are having these "revelations" but for the people who said it from the beginning your a fandroid. I'm gonna target the xcrowd for just a sec. I mean no disrespect but I think alot of xbox fans got the 360 early and got used to the sweet life and judged from there. I waited till ps3 released and bought both. I think both are leaps and bounds better than their predecessors.
It might be useful to play wow in my living room instead of my office.

I tried to have that argument with gnothie and candystop but they wouldn't answer after I pointed out how many first party games had to be or still needs to be patched versus ps3. I think Mass Effect would have met every bit of hype no matter how outrageous if they just would have took a little more time with it.
