that Gears had only 3 enemies on screen, but look at this video. I never saw more than three enemies on screen at one time nad maybe some muzzle flashes in the distance.

the less I'm impressed. People may think it's the best thing that ever happened to em, it's just not that special. It looks nice enough, but very dark, bad AI: enemies don't seem to respond as they should, gameplay looks the same as KZ1, wich is bad, and seems kinda boring. It looks nowhere near the 2005 trailer.
Only thing I think is really great are the blood-effects wich are awesome.

But it sure helps a lot if they have guns lying around. Your comparison with fists is not very good since a fist isn't as deadly a weapon as a gun is.
Also facts prove that in places were there are more guns, and easier acces to them , relatively more people get murdered than in places with no or less guns and acces.
