I loved 360 from the start, love the games I've been playing for over 1.5 years now, love the games that are coming up for 360.
The ps3 however, has absolutely no games, and games coming out for it, that make me wanna have one, honestly.
So have fun with it, I'm just fine with my 360.

I'm not too worried about dvd-9, the upcoming games seem to be great, so why would I be? Maybe MS should've waited as long as ps3 to come out and include a next gen disc format drive, but remember, I was happily playing my 360 back in 2005 and I still am and going to be in the years to come. it has 10 cities wich have multiple tracks. There never was a lack of tracks in PGR.
if they have this great lighting, why won't they show a daylight level, so we can see all the glory?
They mimiced the 05 trailer only to put it in a pitchblack setting, whereas in the 05 trailer it was pretty bright and daylight.
Also, looking at the pictures #2 provided, when the muzzle flash lights the area, you can see the lack of textures, wich is the reason why they've only showed such a dark level.

That cutscene was one of the best I've ever seen, really weird stuff. The gameplay however looks extremely boring, just like any other button mash-hack-and-slash game. I never did get why people like those games.

I noticed it wasn't looking as crisp as all the previous gameplay trailers. After that I saw it was the ps3 version, whereas all the previously shown trailers were 360 versions. I'm not trying to flame here, but it seems like ps3 version looks less good. What do you guys think?
It must be my taste of games, but if this is THE mgs that's gonna do it for Sony, I'm not impressed. It's not very exciting, is it? The only thing I like is the camouflage suit, that's pretty cool. But the part with the oil drum was absolutely lame. Come on taking guys out with a rolling drum while you're in it, that's so Acme. It would be good for xbox if MGS came over, but personally I don't care about this game, I think it sucks.

Even if they don't sell them anymore, the established userbase alone will get them out of the red. 7 million paying live members, market place transactions and off course all the games coming out are going to bring in enough money the coming years to atleast break even this generation. In the end MS wants control of the living room and has a plan that stretches over more than a decade and their not gonna give up due to losses somewhere along the stages.
