You are entitled to your opinion. They started to hype the ps3, back in 2005 with the Killzone trailer. It was the world's introduction to the ps3. Is it a good thing that they bring out the game 3.5 years later? I don't think so.

It doesn't matter if the disc is a hd format. A game is not read directly from the disc, the data is. The console has to render that data in hd or sd. The disc format has nothing to do with the end resolution of the game.

I sold my 2005 premium to a friend and bought an elite. I needed hdmi and the 120 gb hd cause I got a hdtv now and I intend to download hd movies from xblm as soon as the movie service starts here in Holland. I also had to have the black finish.
I just broke my *%$#%steering wheel, well not literally, but now the car steers to the right automatically, must be some faulty wiring, damnit! I was having a kick-@ss time with it. I'll attempt to repair it by hitting it, if that doesn't work, I'm forced to buy a new one. And no it's not the MS one, it's a joytech that I bought 1.5 years ago.

To play with a steering wheel along with the in car view is just amazing fun.
all the ps3 exclusives have a certain look that I can best describe as an "oil painting". The colorpalette always looks oily and kinda blurry, not nessescarily bad looking but a bit weird though. R&C has it to.
From what I've seen of R&C, it looks nice, but definately not pixar quality.
