controller s was the first thing i thought of when i saw the title...and s i believe stood for small for the controller and would apply to the console as well, cause it obviously isnt slim (however, neither is the ps3 slim) but it looks like a smaller xbox 360
i think it stands for small...i remember on the original xbox, the smaller controllers that came out was called "xbox controller s" i think
notice how those comments are never about halo reach (or any game)on its own...its always, (insert game titles) graphics suck compared to (insert direct competition) sad that the mentality is like that around here, it should be "how does said game look now compared to its own past iterations" but sadly its only a dream to think like that on n4g
i agree with sony, it LOOKS nice, but it isnt practical because it attracts dust and fingerprints (or atleast it shows it more)...i was merely commenting on how its always xbox is copying sony, and not vice versa (and i dont want to start)
good ideas SHOULD be copied and even expanded on, but in no way is it a bad thing...too bad ms didnt also include the tray-less drives, cause that was also a thing sony got right
EDIT - ^^
yea, ps2 was matte black, ...
so was sony changing slim to matte black imitating the 360? i think not...get off your high horse...as if sony was the first COMPANY to use gloss black paint in general
should be an "extra" bundled, like the controller and headset...$20 just to transfer data from the hd that they basically made obsolete :S (cause i heard they are going to discontinue original xbox production soon)
EDIT: btw, just watched a different vid about the unboxing and reminded me of usb drives...couldnt you transfer data with 16gb usb drives? i would assume that there isnt a single file bigger than 16gb yet...yes, it would take ALOT longer, but if you alrea...
thanks...so kinect ISNT having a separate press conference?
@baka- i thought we (original xbox owners) have to have a separate power supply for the kinect (from a keighley/greenburg interview) and in the new xbox its already built in...i dunno, didnt watch the conference, but looked through a couple articles
@mitt - i am and always will be one person..and trolling? how was i doing that?
@disagreers, "I" honestly think that what it offers is worth the price it will be sold at, and i really do need to sell my ...
i remember when you used to write "the talon stands for talented" glad you dropped that, cause i did a facepalm everytime i read it lmao
on topic...whos to say that those werent in game assets?
because EVERY potential consumer watched the e3 conference right? thats what you were getting at?
thats nice, but looks like youre always up to give a 360 article a chance right ;)
i think reduced...you're right in saying that there are ALWAYS hardware problems, not even the almighty ps3 is 100% unfaulty...its just to what extent is the reliability, and i do hope its down to atleast a 10% margin of error (thats pretty low, right?) i would like to get the new and improved xbox 360, looks like a sexy beast lol
i didnt see the conference and prolly get the answer later, but might as well try here as well
is kinect = natal?
but it has a 250gb hard drive (not compatible with old hard drives?) built in wifi, hdmi out, kinect ready (im sure it comes with controller and headset and otehr basics) thats a good deal if you ask me
i need to sell my console to a friend to get that, lol
thats from what was shown so far...there are supposed to be rainy levels, and i would think near the end every smokey levels from reach being practically destroyed
remember, that while playing throughout the campaign, we are witnessing the destruction of REACH, so from the beginning, we will see beautiful environments with clean buildings, and at the end, destruction
i would assume atleast 12 hours on legendary
killzone was a more realistic shooter, cause thats what it was supposed to be like...halo is sci-fi, cant compare the 2
your judging the whole campaign after a min and 49 secs of footage?, even less than that from the way they edited it
thats nice, now why dont you comment on the actual article *facepalm*
on topic:
somewhat hard to picture, but looking forward to the reveals at e3...MS's is tomorrow monday right?
agreed, legos are far more sophisticated than mega bloks
always wanted my own pet tiger, they seem like a good buddy to play with when they are small...lol, but is this showing that you can both play with and be the tiger?
