i mean, i didnt spend time perusing through the ps3 side of n4g, but i noticed A LOT of microsoft leaks and rumors that turned out to be true
could that have taken away from MS wow factor of what they showed? i think the leaks and rumors pre-E3 brought many comments and discussion, so when they finally announced it...many ppl most likely thought "i saw that coming" right? or am i wrong
i just want to find out what bungie has to offer
guess im gunna have to wait for the 60gb then...gunna give my 20gb to my bro, lol
just one question in my mind...could installs + no disk spinning = greatly reduced chance for RROD?
grown_folks is right...when you already have a disk in the console and you turn it on, there is a setting that allows you to start up at the main screen and doesnt load the game, it also shows what game is in there...so im guessing that is how they tell whether you have the game or not
thats what i always thought about any game...if its gameplay is refreshing and entertaining, then i dont care about the graphic too much...it only ADDS to the game, but having a bad graphic game with awesome gameplay doesnt take away from it
i dunno, just my opinion
halo was the same all throughout the series?
halo 1 - basic fps game
halo 2 - introduced duel wielding
halo 3 - introduced equipment, taking over a vehicle
just parts of the mechanics that stood out to me
and then you say MGS has but HALO doesnt have variations in story. halo series so far, not really, but you are going to tell me that future halo games are the same...an RTS and interactive movie halo games arent exactly FPS's are they
if that was the case, you wouldnt exactly be a 360fanboy now would you...you would just be classified as a hardcore gamer, not a fanboy of any one particular console
i mean lets face it...if it weren't for the RROD the 360 would be a pretty good success, i would think. Isn't that why most ppl arent buying the 360 nowadays, because of the whole RROD arguement
everything you said realistically and theoretically COULD happen, but since it has happened YET you cannot say that it is fact. Until you have shown solid proof and that it has already happened nothing can be said it is a fact
the next xbox could possibly be launched any time between now and Dec. 31, 2012 (which is possible, but not saying it IS happening) it would prove that your statement was not FACT
i was about to say the same thing as bucky. By then in 2010(just...
not sure if you can predict the future...but im sure that it hasnt been confirmed whether or not the next xbox would be backwards compatible or not...so you cant just go blindly and say things that may or may not happen
so me an article where it was proven that the next xbox will not be backwards compatible with the 360...or even an article where most of what you say will happen has been proven
unless you are one of the ppl working on the next xbox and know for sure ...
as long as its a one time peripheral buy that is compatible with every consecutive year sports game
i know i wouldnt buy somwthing for one year then the next one comes with a totally new version with more gizmos and gadgets that wont work with the previous years peripheral
yea i guess you're right, i was taking his choices as an "all together" type thing where all game testing or being and modeller in general was a bad thing
id that it would be true, that it all depends on the places you work at and their environment
i know most gamers hate the gaming giant that is EA, but their work environment looks so slack (when not on crunch time) its amazing, i had a tour at EA burnaby and it was crazy....i had the tour at 9 am, and ppl...
after reading that list, can someone tell what wasnt considered a bad job in the game industry
the zune was a great product...it just had terrible marketing and advertising so it never took off
i wonder if you even read the article...COD4 community is cr*p compared to halos community, all call of duty has to mix it up was the maps
halo is constantly mixing it up for the community by check forums for unique gameypes and making them a reality, the forge gametypes that playr create can be shared amongst other players, and bungie is adding a different game type every week for the double exp weekend playlist...on top of that, they are also producing map packs from old maps a...
paying 50 a year...or in my case 4.6 cents a day...for THE BEST ONLINE SERVICE is why it is worth it
i can go outside and find 5 cents right now prolly...lmao, but i dont need to ;)
that first Wii comparison surprised me...lmao, i dont know about you guys, but the wii version looks pretty bad even for n64 graphics...
and yea, 360 version does look better, but the quality of gameplay looks solid on both versions...i mean ps3 and 360 of course
50 dollars a year sounds like much, but if you think about it you are pretty much paying 13.7 cents a day...that right there isnt much
.6 cents an hour...but thats if you play 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year...but still
i play about 3 hours a day (yes i am addicted to games) so i basically pay 4.6 cents a day
my game design instructor was talking about this last semester, and he said the with fully digital downloadable game it would be less stressful for game developers to make a game because then they can release part of the game and constantly produce expansions for the game later on
maybe i have no idea what im talking about, but i think thats what he said...if anyone knows what im talking about and has some knowledge about it...id love to hear it
honestly, that was a pretty sweet looking trailer even tho it didnt exactly have gameplay footage
i wont be able to play the game cause i only have a 360 and am not gunna get a ps3 cause i dont really like the controller and my pockets are empty, but that was awesome
hopefully 360 or the next next gen xbox can get a game like that soon
they should encorporate a limited team respawn type thing for these types of games like what BFBC had for attackers...th...
