the one thing i learned in physics was that, when comparing objects, both sides must be equivalent...in this case, if you are trying to compare the motion controls, then you have to have it come out as $/person
seeing as how kinect can handle ATLEAST 2 ppl and a max of 4 ppl, you have to find its value for one person, which is approx $38-75 including the game would come to about $88-125 (still most expensive IF the max is 2 players per kinect/console, equal to move at 3 playe...
no...theyre doing what they set out to do in the first place and make the 360 the entire entertainment system
i dont really care for the extras (yet) as long as they start delivering quality games, ill be happy
maybe cause sometimes they just want to talk to their friends even if they arent playing the same thing
i dont know how many times ive had friends over and they go on computer or something or just watch/take turns while we play single player online games and just chill and chat...its basically the same thing except they arent at my place
i really like party chat with bfbc2 and halo...bfbc2 cause having to only be able to talk to 3 other ppl isnt as helpful as having 7 other ppl with mics...3 is good enough, but with 7, you really have more to work with and coordinate with. And the reason i like it with halo is cause i really do have a fun time just chatting with friends most of the time (not too competitive in halo) and not be annoyed by the other ppl
you got that right! however im also in canada, lol...vancouver is great, but hella expensive to live in right now
@kingpin - the difference between yoru example of move and gt5 with kinect and halo is that kinect is a full body capture, basically making you be the motion capture that makes the animation...and move is jsut controlling a steering wheel with buttons used for acceleration, brake etc
if they made halo with kinect, the spartan kinect enabled would basically be able to do anything the human would be able to do body-wise as well as direction while a spartan using only a controll...
interesting...guess they do have sense in just mot trying to make halo into every genre available...also, glad to hear that they want to make a new fps game with natal and not try to implement natal controls in existing franchises, that means that they are most likely trying to create new "genres" with natal kinda like what alan wake and heavy rain did...that also means they are most likely gunna be making new ip's probably natal exclusive meaning completely controller less fran...
i hated zbrush, thats why i respect character modelers and hated to become a character modeler myself...ill stick to environmental modeling, so much easier...lol
apparently youll be seeing both neat and tidy then destroyed and gritty throughout the campaign...atleast thats what bungie is going for, cause we are supposed to witness reach from the beginning to end when it gets destroyed
from my point of view, when watching a hd version of the e3 campaign reveal...the cinematic of the rocket taking off, that whole clip looked realistic, and im talking about where he gets in, takes off and you see the thrusters and all that stuff deploying and detaching, looked like a realistic shuttle take off (atleast to me it did)
from 4:54 - 6:30 (it was the best version i could find quickly)...btw, that structure that they fly towards, looked real detailed...prolly not gu...
and thats fair enough...unlike the majority of haters (and im not trying to use it negatively in this sense...just that you hate halo, nothing wrong with that) atleast you gave it a shot. There isnt a single game out there that 100% of the ppl will like, the difference is that there are some that just hate out of spite, and some that hate because it doesnt appeal to them, the latter is obviously the better form of hate
wait, i didnt get the relation between the title and the article (but im used to that by now, being on n4g)
so he lists a bunch of positives (extra usb ports, wifi built in, blah blah blah) but wheres the "Big Step Backward" when the issues he has with it is that 1) it doesnt ship with an hd cable 2)its slim, but not that slim 3)switched to touch sensitive buttons (which ps3 slim has also, does it not? does he think ps3 slim is also a "big step backward"?)...
exactly...isnt this how EVERY employee is? i bet my left nut that this is the same way sony and nintendo employees think as well
same reason why every dev out there says this game is better than [insert previous game iteration or rival dev games here]
announcing dlc before the game is out...dont like the concept, but i understand why it happens sometimes and the main reason being that the content couldnt be completed in time
but if this is going to be multiple dlc (whether its map packs, extra side missions, etc) with bungie, i hope they go with the halo 3 route and make the previous dlc free whenever a new one comes out...i loved how they were able to do that, and showed they still cared for the supporters that still stay...
an "article" about amazon user reviews? arent those review by average joe schmoes?
"do not like shiny" - thats why the ps3 phat was shiny and wasnt a problem (i know, collects dust and shows fingerprints, but that is hardly a problem) back then?
care to give examples...cause the way i view it, is that it doesnt really do much more that the touch cant already do, or maybe even an iphone since it too has 3g
it prolly can do things that the touch cant do, but generally speaking, the touch does enough that the ipad seems pointless (again, in MY eyes) all i need is wifi, and ill have internet (have a blackberry also, so i have my data covering internet on that if i cant get a wireless signal), apps and music...is there an...
:O the face of john117 as a kid!!! it has been revealed
i kinda feel sorry for those 3 million ppl getting into the hype of an enlarged ipod touch...just watch in a year or so theyll come out with a new one that has a camera or video camera attached and those (so far) 3 million ppl will realize that they just got ripped off
that the thing i hate about the "i" products...you know that they already have the next add on/upgrade thought out, right when they release a new product
so how do you pay for it on psn? the subscription i mean
thought it was already there with halo legends...lol, but i still dont how get this comic means halo on ps3? i got the joke with halo legends, but this is a real comic book (physical object) isnt it? like halo helljumpers, uprising and bloodlines (read them all)
