game didnt have a beta, so they couldnt test this out externally...so id expect a bit of problems for at least the first week

would prolly be better if you actually told me what possible issues a map could have...cause i cant really think of anything that could possibly be wrong with a map except for visuals/graphics, or spawns (players and/or weapons)
visuals - from what i saw were prolly better than most of halo reach's default maps, and the skyboxes were phenomenal...so i dont see this as an issue
spawns - if there was an issue, then bungie could easily tweak them as they see...
level design plays a big part in making a good game...making balanced maps is a real hard thing to do, so if a dev team can make balanced maps, great gameplay is almost guaranteed...the other things are having a great story and lastly graphics
its a map, not a mission...how can they find something wrong with a map? except for maybe the spawns, which could and will be changed if bungie needs to

party chat COULD be used to talk to someone else playing another game
but it is also used (like how i use it) to muffle out all the drama from everyone else and focus the chat with ppl you know playing the game
the way i use the feature is with my friends playing THE SAME GAME as me, and with voice setting set to both, so i hear ppl in my party through the headset and the rest of the ppl faintly through my speakers, if i do come by the slight off chance that ...
they also wont ruin if you dont search...thats why many smart gamers "go dark" if they dont want to get spoiled for a game they are anticipating

a price cut is never a bad thing, unless they have to take things out of the product to do so, but i highly doubt this is the case so more power to sony...the price cut isnt needed (sales prove they are still selling very well), but always appreciated
