It does, and it doesn't. It is perfect for the Niche audience. A perfect companion device for PS4. The only thing left is that mainstream game that'd propel the VITA to great heights. Somethin' like Monster Hunter. No half-assed efforts.
That, and other potential disadvantages. Since the PC is an open platform it is more susceptible to exploits.
And every other console are open formats, just like project Morpheus is also PC compatible.

We seem to be more worried about how the Xbox ONE is doing than Microsoft, despite having no stake or shares in the business. ^_^
The ONE has yet to release in 26 . . 26 countries. Titanfall did well, and they've sold about 4 mill thus far. What's the problem?

There's nothing wrong with it as it is. Microsoft has been improving the system with updates more so than the rival console. Things'll obviously get better.
@Corn - The price of the console is reasonable. The specs within the PS4 and X1 are comparable. The same CPU, and the GPUs are based on the AMD 7xxx series. The PS4 GPU is better but it's not a significant difference.

The Xbox ONE objective isn't to "catch up" to it's rival console.
Their objective is to deliver blockbuster titles. Win over the 360 fan base. And maintain a healthy stream of games. Everything else comes along. They've had a successful launch. And, things will only get better from here on.
