The same could be said about any game. Titanfall wasn't meant to be the second coming. It's still just another game.

I wouldn't double dip not even for better graphics. The game-play is still the same.
The only thing Respawn failed to do is to make a bad game. Respawn has no control over how the media or fans react to their game. The game has succeeded. It is out, people are playing the game on a daily basis. What does hype have to do with anything anymore? In fact, there'll be a sequel. Maybe when it releases on PS4 we'll stop getting articles like this..

Sony is the only one I know that 'dominated' for two gens in a row. They did it with PS1 & PS2.
Nintendo did it with the Wii. .

The PS is selling because it's a proven brand. I know I would play it safe and buy a PS4 if I were the average person, also it's new. Fifa would be enough for me.
