Games like FIFA and CoD combined together in Europe on PS3 are bigger than those numbers, if a country like Australia can have only 1 million total PS3s and still sell millions of games, then the whole of Europe, will sell more than what this article is claiming to be the 'whole' of Europe.
Edit: VG Charts may be guess but they can be close so according to them, FIFA 2011 has sold over 3 million in Europe. Added with there numbers of Black Ops for Europe, once again ...

What you are saying is true to this article, but those software sales are for France only i believe, as Cod, FIFA and other franchises sell many millions across Europe. Therefor it is easy to see that those figures are falsely being said to be whole of Europe, when the data is from a french site, it clearly must be the french data.
I don't care what excuses you give, pirating anything is entirely wrong. I have only ever downloaded 2 movies illegally. And that was years ago. Never pirated a game, never used an emulator. I hope you get caught and brought to the full extent of the law, i HATE ALL PIRATES!

I hated Dantes Inferno, crap graphics and story. BOOBZZZZ! Gah, played that game for 2 hours and returned to the rental store. Went back to playing Bayonetta/God Of War. Why get Dante when you can get the others.
Am i the only person who felt this year was a little slow for Sony, after SOCOM and LBP2 were delayed we had GT5 (which im loving btw) and that was all for the last 6 months of the year. Started of phenomenal, WKC, MAG, GOW3,HR and MNR. But then towards the end, became a slow, multiplats where similar, not a HUGE number of good games.
i preferred Burnout: Paradise. Still playing threw it though, might get even better.

Consider yourself lucky, $120 retail here. LAN parties are obcelete as well with the Internet. Next year has heaps of split screen games. There are plenty of long single player games, just there are more online focused games as well. JRPGs need to change there way, they are all stagnant ATM. There are also plenty of great PC games, stop complaining for the sake of complaining, most of your points are silly.
Lol the best games for the wii this gen are new takes on old games, Zelda, metroid, Kirby, donkey kong, golden eye etc..... Where are the NEW games, the wii won't win in my eyes until it starts a killer game that is a new ip. Gears of war, bioshock, assassins creed, uncharted, infamous, Alan wake, crackdown, heavy rain etc.... Are all brand new games on the HD systems that have made this generation fantastic, not relying on old classics and the nostalgic feel of the games to garner succes...
Why is everyone clammering for a halo remake? For what? The old style gameplay, it will feel basic and boring compared to the amazing feature lists in halo reach.

Because I have never played, mortal kombat, tomb raider, god of war, ico\colossus, splinter cell, plus sly. I love the collection, no way have you played every single game in that list of rerealises. Bargain price, all on one disc, and multiple platinums. Seems like a steal to me.

Thats exactly right, it is targeted at MMO fans, we love these games, and they save money in the long run. Will I buy all the PS3 exclusives next year? YES! I'm not going to play it for more than a couple of months, and i can have many games operating at one time. 2 hours of KZ3, go play some Dead Space. Then finish of with some DCUO with mates. Next day, uni, play whatever game i feel like! MMOs are some of the best games around, why get annoyed at 15 bucks, thats nothing haha i spend mo...
