I am trying not to be lazy in my future purchase or build of a computer. But I have $4k to blow on a PC and it is burning a hole in my pocket. My brother (Redhemi300c on n4g) is to busy to build one for me given he has more experience building PC's. So I may just buy a gaming rig.
Yeah an app would be nice, I am sure it will happen. But the website does work quite well on the iPhone and iPad.

I remember the beginning of Xbox live when server browsers on consoles was the norm. I can't remember many games that didn't have it. Notable ones that did, ghost recon and RTC Wolfenstien. Heck, Wolfenstien even allowed dedicated servers. I ran them while I was in class back in my old college days. Now it is like some sort of rare gift to see it.
Nobody buys a battlefield game for the singleplayer. Dice knows as much.

I agree the new consoles are coming, but it is not confirmed for 2013. Sooner the better as far as I am concerned.
But new consoles are not needed, obviously they are if methods to remedy lacking capability exists when a HD pack must be installed.
I am glad DICE made this happen but what will be needed next time to make a game look acceptable. You can only stretch 5-6 year old machines for so long.

Between 0:00 and 0:35, I can actually see a difference. With the HD pack their is no blur and the lighting is better.
For the first few batches that stores receive, back to karkland will be available for no additional price. Just like the maps that came with BFBC2.
