I am on the same quest with 100 percent the same problem. The only way to move along and not in the proper quest is to literally kill some of the companions except farkas (you can't kill him anyways). Then he will give you radiant quest. This causes more glitches because elea (name spelled wrong) the huntress will constantly tell you, "these two are dead and won't be anymore trouble." That annoyed me so much I reloaded an old save before I killed the companions. So I abandon...

That blows because this game is epic well after the 30 hour mark. I have seen the most amazing sights ever in a elder scroll game.
I have a combination of dragon and deadric armor with all deadric weapons. It is hard finding deadric hearts to make their weapons an armor.
They missed one I ran into. I can't remember the location but it has a white troll in it. The cave was iced over and in the mountains, it had a skeleton hanging upside down with it's feet incased in ice and a sword lying beneath it. Sound familiar? It should to you star wars fans.

How the heck is a 1x infared night Vision scope too powerful!? It simply does what it is supposed to do. You still need to aim the damn gun. This is the kind of crap changes that makes me leave a fps. First it was rainbow 6 Vegas nerfing of the MTAR rifle, then halo reach removing armor lock from big team battle objective. I guess the rumored gpu-CPU combo was just that, a rumor. I am more worried about the available memory and how it will be accessed. 512 mb definitely won't happen. We need at least 2gb.
I got a ebony armor curiass that causes constant poison to anything near my character and covers my character pitch black when I crouch. It sucks though because in first person you are blinded by the black smoke screen coming off your body. I am tryi g to build my character up to get dragon armor.
I have not had one single game ending issue like previous bethesda titles. They have truly redeemed themselves with skyrim. I did have a visually annoying ice shot Stuka in my chest for a while in the game. But it eventually disappeared. Plus don't ever interfere with a dragon soul transfer, you may not get it.
