One word ...No......has not won me over.
We all know that the graphics of the Switch is not its selling point, the ability to sell compelling Nintendo content on the go is...however, how long will that same motto last? Consumers typically want advancements with technology, not tech from 2011. I've played Uncharted in 4K with HDR. It's amazing. Period. So we have a game like Zelda which is artistic and beautiful. But when it comes to the diverse nature of games like a last of us, titanfall resident evil 7 , FF15, etc, we will...
40 bucks for a 20 year old game with online. Nintendo is out of control with these prices. Hell I just bought SFV for 20 bucks!!
I don't think it was wise to release early in the year. Two months n a week after Christmas (beginning of march). They will have to bring it with fresh titles to stay relevant. It should have been more powerful. Bottom line it's 2017. Zelda looks amazing for what it is but looking at multiplats and other first party offerings it doesn't look much different from the wiiU warranting the question is it worth it? Maybe to Nintendo fans who did not buy the wiiU but wiiU owners? Not so ...
It just "stinks" of gimmick. That's my position. In the press release they are selling the system as one that can perform like all the ideas they have into one box. It has Wii and wiiU aspects while being mobile like the 3DS. To me with all of that the message is still confusing. Reggie is saying it's a home console first. Of course selling the new Zelda which I think is amazing ..and Well...okay, then we have games like arms and 1-2 Switch with are like Wii titles. It's...
It's the reality, look how bad dragon quest heros look compared to the PS4 version. It will be extremely difficult to remove assets of multiplat games and develop for another gimmick based system. The issue is it will have to be dedicated titles released for the system. It's like here is the platform make games for it. It can't be here is the game we have, how can we make it work across the board while still being optimal. I love Nintendo and it hurts we just can't get a power...
Yea that downgrade is scary bad looking. Like they took out everything almost all the effects shadows and textures
Good question is, will the wiiU version have the game pad support with specific functions like seeing all you inventory, mini games, maps, etc, if so, that should be a bigger sell compared to the switch.
I said the same thing they showed it twice but no mention on screen of not included.
Anyone noticed he was using the PRO controller twice in the video and no caption specifically mentioned that the pro controller is not included? Could be an issue!!
I like the moves set in this new MARIO that's a given. However, like many have said, it's not mind blowing. It gives you that sonic adventure feel. There are some very nice additions like riding the golden dog was awesome. I just hope it captures us like Mario 64 did. I can go on and on and I will most likely buy this but I really wanted something mind blowing that change the way we game. Going from super Mario 3 to super Mario world, or going from super Mario world to super Mario 64 ...
This system is confusing. The objective according to Nintendo is to put everything in one box. Motion controls gaming on the go with home console abilities. They are betting on establishing a market for ALL demographics. In the end it's just confusing and the games don't blow anyone away. If the games blew us away it would be a different story.

I disagree. Innovation is there, psvr, oculus rift, etc. Microsoft visor where it utilize your space to create visuals. The bottom line is people wanted a Nintendo system with power. If they had the power, the first party games would be tremendous. Look at the Nintendo 64 with Banjo, Perfect Dark, Mario 64, waverace, Zelda, Fzero, Star Fox, Rogur Squadron, Killer Instinct Gold, the list goes on and on. If we had those level of ip's with 4K graphics etc gamers would be...
I think the price is an issue comparing the system competitively. The system itself is 299.99. Then the joy cons are 50 dollars each, the pro controller is 80 dollars, two joy cons are 90 dollars and this before adding games..How is Nintendo able to grab more of a market share without separating the switch form the likes of the wiiU which this consoles feel like. It feels like a wiiU you can take on the go. Bottom line is the switch is a weaker platform compared to the Xbox one S and PS4 with...
I agree that it will sell well with early adopters especially with Zelda at launch but overall, I was not moved or excited during any point except for the Zelda trailer. The MARIO game looks super dated, the other "gimmicks" they showed were meh , and the third party support just isn't there yet...the price when compared to Xbox oneS and PS4 is so high . In the end I think this will end up like the Wii U. Nintendo is truly out of touch to me. Granted I like innovation but if the...
Its TIME!!!!! Who is excited? Nintendo dont let me down!!!
Okay UPDATE:
BOMB ZELDA IS COMING OUT AT RELEASE!
Everything else was terrible but thats all I needed.
I agree angel , this is just ridiculous. You have been selling the fact that this game is on the way. You been showing gameplay, trailers, etc, then all of a sudden, it's cancelled. Outside of Forza, Halo, and Gears, MS has yet to deliver any other original content. Every time a studio gets involved or in bed with MS, something bad happens. Look at Rare, when they were with Nintendo they could almost do no wrong, since with MS, what do they really have to show for it? I myself was looking...
Surprise none of the classic SNES titles made it. Good read though.
I can't wait for this game. I hope they nail the look with the planes and explosions, also make the backdrops and landscapes look amazing.
So you are excited for a game system with five games at launch and it's selling point is a game that's available for wiiU? Btw paying over 300 for the system and God knows how much for accessories? Okay! Lol
