Its not about PC . its about are the graphics being smooth, clear, and not muddy. A big issue in the console versions of bf3 is that it was hard to see the enemy. Graphics are doorways to intriguing gameplay. If the frame rate is choppy, visuals are muddy, that can dull the experience. I'm a big BF fan and want the best version overall. I just don't see the xb1 or even the ps4 leading as that true platform yet. Just my opinion.
Sorry guys. The frame rates are not smooth. The textures do look muddy and the shadows? Where? Considering how close we are getting to launch, I do hope they iron things out. Dislike if you may, but its visibly obvious.
Sorry guys, I must agree that the PS4 version is way better. To directly compare, I watched the scene where Snake had the guy from behind (dusk) and the camera rotates before snake knocks him out. If you look at the lighting, textures, and frame rates, each one was superior on the ps4. While I am not discounting each platform, ( I will be buying both ). The visuals are outrageously good. Only thing concerns me is that the animations are a little stiff. Otherwise, definitely on my radar.
The game makes me wonder are the people at Rock star, Gods? Lol I just hope with this amount of revenue, they can develop a PC Version. I think it will always be there. When you look at loading its not just the ram involved, its also the CPU, HDD, and disc. These systems do not have solid state drives and the time it takes for the HDD to send the data through the pipelines will still take several seconds. The big thing to do is to do research on this tech. The only downfall of the tech is possible errors going unnoticed within the pool. Otherwise, this is great. I agree with dark witness. When they showed the multiplayer for Xbox 1 I thought it was 360. KZ is a better looking game in my opinion. The immersion in KZ is crazy good.
As much as I praise amd for their price/performance solutions, there driver updates hold me back from switching from nvidia. If they were to update as well as nvidia they could take the market share swiftly.
Ultra settings are ultra settings. The only thing you can measure on PC is frames per second. Will AMD cards have better frame rates compared to Nvidia is the question. Some games run better on AMD, and some run better on Nvidia. Its about the developers tools and how they optimized there code. But you can't compare graphic quality because ultra is .....ultra.
