There is no way they would want to have a 'version' of COD that forces you to pay cash to play online and have late map packs.
I already fixed it, its not a hard fix. But I hear that it only lasts like 5 months. I might take it in and get 200 bucks from Gamestop.
Wish Sony was doing the 'Get Sony card, buy PS3 get 100 back' offer. Would rock. Would be a free upgrade and I can get the 1 year warranty (then 2 year upgrade later).
Microsoft's service is different from Sony's. I personally like Sony's idea better. I don't really like to pay for Last.FM, Twitter and paying to play games I paid 59.99 for.

I have to admit, I love the ability to play as many formats in one box and would love to shell out some extra cash to get a 'PS2' enabled slim (they run MUCH better than the 60gb that just YLOD).
But, why should Sony spend millions of dollars to make 'PS2 compatible' PS3s that you bought without the promise of PS2 support? I'm sorry, that is as dumb as saying I want my toaster to play PS2 games as well.
In the end, if you really need PS2 ...
I have room to use it.
Does not mean I want to use it. lol.
