plus souls games difficulty doesn't come from the amount of damage you deal and reserve like most games nowadays are. the attack pattern of enemies and your play style determine the difficulty of the game.(not to mention souls game are only games and online games dont have difficulty option

the way poise works was changed in the last update or the one before it (I dont remember)
Its not like ds1 or ds2 but its very usable (Im playing as gaint dad and Im kicking a$$. I can poise threw ANY attack)
it's basically hyper armor+poise (some call it hyper poise) you can watch youtube videos if you want to know how it works. It brought me back into DS3 multiplayer
