in 10 years? i could see that, lag should be gone, most people would have 1GB connections or at least 10mb fibre optic lines, even people living in remote areas should have at least broadband speeds

their year and a half lead over sony is arguably the reason why the 360 is where it is today (also, being dirt cheap is a nice plus too)

i dont get why you think if the PS4 showed up sooner the specs would be lower, tech has advanced a lot since the PS3 launch and i dont expect sony to just use standard devices in the PS4 that are available at any tech store today, they never did it with the PS1/PS2 or PS3
hell, even the vita is using a quad core CPU which is unheard of in a handheld
so what im saying is, dont expect sony to skimp on the specs
i dont want sony to rush out with the PS4 but they simply cannot wait for 2+ years while MS and nintendo bring out their next gen consoles
forget about all other issues, move not selling well (unconfirmed), PSN breach, japan disaster, these are all temporary to an extent, sony launching there console after everyone else AGAIN is not an option

nintendo have been doing what they've been doing for years so its no surprise they have instantly recognizable franchises, especially when they refuse to make new IP's
sony make not have such recognizable faces but no one beats them in new IP's
the star wars gaming franchise isn't owned by namco-bandai who apparently have no problem recycling decade old content over and over again
they should have ended the fighting aspect of the games with budokai 3, which was clearly the best dbz game ever, then move on to action RPG/JRPG but no....we get pretty much the same thing every year
europe or more specifically the UK has a massive indian population so its not really surprising
your first mistake was assuming everyone, even people who know all about the warranty, will actually use it
