352,600, at least in North America. 5000 more than the same time last year, actually.
But you're right, clearly no one wants a 360 anymore.
I'm not trying to be a fanboy for one side or the other - just stating the facts, since you asked.
Edit:
You said "no one wants a 360 at age 4". The sales number show otherwise. That's all I'm saying.
Obviously the original XBox didn't sell anything beyond used units, because n...
At what point did I "lump you all together"? I never said ALL Sony fans repeat ad slogans like robots, just that the ones who did were pretty damn lame, and that I saw Sony fans doing it a lot more than Microsoft or Nintendo fans.
Sounds to me like you're taking offense where none was intended. Oversensitive much? Maybe it's time to take a break from the front lines of the so-called "console war", champ.
Hey, I love my PS3 too, but I'm not going to sit around N4G repeating company slogans like a sad little corporate whore.
Both sides may do it, but I've honestly noticed it a LOT more from the Sony side.
How shocking that a Sony-fanboy run website doesn't have full knowledge of the 360's features!
As lame as Microsoft's ad campaign is (and this IS lame), it's not quite as lame as people who don't even work for Sony repeating ad slogans like freakin' robots. Ugh.
I love the idea of games that unlock free things for achievements, be it Avatar clothing or Home customization. I hope more games on all platforms continue this trend.
I'm just happy when games aren't planned from day-one as "part of a trilogy" and thus written without any real resolution. The "part of a trilogy" trend needs to die and we need to return to the time when a game's story stood alone as a success or failure.
Uncharted is a fantastic example of doing it the right way. You don't need to play Uncharted 1 to enjoy Uncharted 2; both of them have stories and endings that stand alone - and that's how it SHOULD be for...
Here's a crazy thought - let's wait until Netflix service is actually available on the PS3 before writing and responding to articles like this.
The service could be phenomenal, or it could be sub-par, and there's really no way to know one way or the other until it's actually up and running.
I checked it out shortly after I got my PS3 in August, but honestly haven't felt the need to log in again since then.
I have enough PS3 games to play for months to come, and from what I can tell, Home does very little to fascilitate my game playing experience.
This is already happening - looking at fantastic digital distribution-based games like Shadow Complex and Fat Princess.
Digital distribution really is the way the game industry is heading, and I think they'll get there way, WAY before movies will. Why? Because it's more profitable for everyone EXCEPT the middle-man. I know someone who used to work for Gamestop, and right now they're desperately trying to avoid the Blockbuster Effect (ie, getting screwed by a higher-tech com...
Glad I got mine from Gamefly then. It arrived on Wednesday and I can buy it at a used price any time I choose :)
Just to correct you, the Wii does, in fact, have a browser. Also, as of last month, it is now a free download (it was previously $5).
Yeah, that's pathetic.
When did links from SDF become credible? Seriously, did I miss a memo? This is PATHETIC.
@1.13
It's not really ironic, just hypocritical...but fanboys bathe in hypocracy, so it's not unexpected.
"They aren't fanboys! They are retards."
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner.
"(+) No game has ever told a story so well"
Can we please tone down the hyperbole just a little? We haven't even played the game yet, so we shouldn't really be saying the game is telling a story better than any ot...
What are you talking about?
Here, allow me to quote myself for your convenience, since it's clear you didn't bother to actually read my entire post:
"That sad, it's far MORE likely that this no-name site just wants the hits they will get for criticizing a popular game."
I was speaking more generally about the currently popular belief on N4G that anyone who rated Uncharted 2 less than a 9.5 must have some-sort of anti-PS3 agenda, rather th...
Yeah, hard to believe VC didn't make the cut.
This "gamer" vs. "not a gamer" elitist crap needs to stop. I don't care how fantastic of a game Uncharted 2 is; there will always be people who don't like it for whatever reason, and that doesn't make them less of a gamer than anyone else.
I'm not sure this particular reviewer is one of them. Chances are he's just looking to get hits for his no-name site. But seriously, end this "YOU'RE NOT A REAL GAMER UNLESS..." crap, please.
It's possible this person has legitimate issues with the game - everyone has different opinions and yes, while the game is getting AAA reviews from everywhere else, and 99% of people may love it, there will always be that 1% who don't - and they are just as welcome to their opinion as anyone else. Some people hate the original Uncharted for various reasons, and that's their right.
That sad, it's far MORE likely that this no-name site just wants the hits they will get for criti...
Console schmonsole. I play most of my games on a console these days, but Dragon Age is the sort of game that BEGS to be played on the PC - especially with the toolset.
