You don't know what is going on with the mobile market right now, the over-saturated market of mini-games in smartphones will only devaluate the software more and more, right now, the "gaming-apps" in those devices are becoming a norm and people eventually will feel that they don't need to pay for them (even if prices are at the lowest), just free apps attached to their smartphones and such devices, something like a Plus or de-facto support for buying the HW, in the end only...
Don't bother, while it's true that new chips are getting more powerful and stuff, that's how tech works, right? it'd beyend pathetic if isn't that way, every clueless analyst and the such is reacting like if smartphones games would be on par with consoles and then, like magically, erase them, real thing is that this gen is getting old and new consoles are about be released, not this year, maybe next, but when they come out, they'll be more powerful than these mobile-th...

Again, analysts are clueless, they keep comparing sales of smartphones with no dedicated gaming handheld capabilities with the low sales of the 3DS, mini-games on smartphones are "popular" because they're CHEAP, that's it, also the low sales of the 3DS is because the line-up is weak and average guys still think 3DS is just an upgrade of the original DS...
Worst thing about teh salez article is while everyone is fighting for who was the one that sold most, no one gave a crap that July was the worst month since october 2006, that's a loss for all gamers god dammit!
