Two different things, sure gaming should have more recognition, but it's not an sport, not even the motion-control sport games can simulate real sports...
Install are better IMO because of how easy is to swap a bigger HDD in the PS3 and the back-up utility is a wonder...
1TB? I thought the max was 750GB, I read it somewhere :P I have a 320GB with 55GB left, next time I do a change I'll go for the bigger available...

Every bit of RAM they get by shrinking the OS goes to GAMES, that's why Multiplat games now looks the same as the x360 counterparts, guess if they could shrink the XMB more at some point they would implement it, but there wasn't any big update lately so, no one knows...
They removed BC to cut costs, you want trophies? then you want added costs to raise the price of the games you want...
I'd take more tracks over Premium cars without just because I know they can't model 800 cars in 1 year, so if there are some new updated cars, there will be some awesome cars left behind like the Buick Special, Furai, Shelby GT350, all Vettes, Countachs and so on, of course I want all tracks from previous games and all Premium cars and I can't wait for Spec II

MS:A was released in the worst way possible, after the Japanese earthquake, they had to move the release date when in some places it was selling already, the game is really good, not the same as Pacific Rift, but both are differents so still great...
I'll love some DLC, but I just hope they're working on making Every car Premium for the next GT...
ND always move on to something when a new gen starts, this time can be different, but it's not their fault for doing a pretty awesome series :P so, don't worry, I'm sure they have something new for the next gen...
