Well, I hope he changes the way Sony do their s***, the other day I found an interview with Stringer in Beyond3D and it tells how he couldn't change anything as he was dismissed by engineers for being a "content guy" telling him that hardware is what Sony should focus more and content comes second, he also said that one of the more affected divisions was SCE as it was the more walled-off

Next gen is around the corner, N will "re-unveil" the wii-u this E3 with probably a November release date, pretty much like the wii, Sony and MS will not sit there and do nothing, Sony can't be that stupid to launch later than the competition, MS can't live with the currently success in US, both companies can't give N the advantage of having a new console in the market alone for a long period of time, Next Gen is getting close, yay! :P

Please, read this again : "why don't just build a frachise in one console generation and expand it in the upcoming ones" this means, make a new game and expand it with sequels in upcoming generations, an example: MGS= PS1 + MGS2= PS2 - MGS3= PS2 + MGS4= PS3, see?
Killzone: coming from PS2 performing so-so, 2 sequels in the same generation, KZ3 performing worse than KZ2, leaving no room to expand the franchise as there is no substantial ...

No company in their right mind would rely on Casuals @ 100% wii did bring something innovative, but that's about it and the novelty wore off, I cannot see something like that repeating again, it's up to the core gamers and always have been, casuals are just trend followers...
No one can blame MS for being smart, casuals eat anything that is massively advertised, they took the chance and released Kinect and now they have some sort of obligation to make games for those casuals, it's just common sense, IF Sony did the same last gen with the Eyetoy, you'd see the same results but 6 ayers ago, I can't see MS ditching the core though, that would be really stupid, casuals are not reliable at all...
PC rules because of STEAM, games are so cheap (talking about price :P), but the average joe doesn't give a crap about performance and raw power, he just want to play the games he likes and nothing else, that's what the PC elitists can't understand, they go with the same "bu... but teh graphics are worse on consoles" meanwhile, people even enjoy wii-sport without giving any attention to graphics and stuff
