Personally Skyrim to me was more steps back and too few forward. Choice and consequence was all gone and they went too far with the streamlining, story sucked, but then again Bethesda only managed that once and that was in Morrowind.

GTA V might be more fun, but as far as story goes we have a clear winner this generation in The Last of Us.

@Ali, the damn point is that it's a completely meaningless feature, it's not something you want to highlight when you reveal your game. It came off like the most innovative thing they've come up with in like 5 years, well fish and dogs.
The writing, the story, the humor, the setting, the depth. It was all there. Fallout 3 felt meh compared to FNV.

Wut? FNV was a million times better than FO3. FO3 lacked almost all the black humour that was so good with the Fallout world, it had this frustrating POS city and everything was just supposed to be epicepicepicepic. It lost the RPG feel.
So please bethesda give all rights to Obsidian and stay the f away from Fallout.
Dead Rising 3 was about the only exclusive that looked appealing to me and that might aswell be a timed exclsuive seeing as it's Capcom developing it.
In my opinion it doesn't matter what gets announced this year. I know that Sony has Naughty Dog and Santa Monica among other exclusive developers. And I'm pretty certain Microsoft will never come close to having an exclusive such as The Last of Us.

I played without it on Hard in my first playthrough. I respect them for listening to what people want but in the end it didn't feel like the game was designed without it in mind.
Still have my 60GB, got it on the european release day. No problems here.
