Honestly ACIV is a better game than GTA V. GTA V prides it self as a sandbox, but in truth you finish the story and that's that, the world is stale as fuck. And I wouldn't blame the developers talent or anything mostly it's the decision to go with a modern day city. Sure you can drive cars and helicopters and shit, but doing that outside of the missions is just downright boring.

You could just install SteamOS on you PC, dunno how viable that will be when it comes out but it will hopefully become a standard for PC gaming.

The console just came out, looking back on PS3 there were atleast more good JRPGs than there was on the 360. Take Ni No Kuni for example.
Too be fair the lineup is much better than before. The Xbox One might have more exclusive retail games but many seem to forget about Planetside 2 for instance.
I'll be enjoying AC4 and pick up Watch Dogs next year, grab some indie games and wait for their heavy hitters.
The PS3 was collecting dust for years and they had no momentum back then now they are going stronger, I doubt they'll dissapoint now when they managed to save the PS3 that was looking ...

I can give CoD4 creds for being a solid game and feeling fresh and all, but nothing, no shooter, will ever come close to CoD2.
Fuck all that perk crap and built in wallhacks, CoD2 was pure skill and it didn't need any pseudo RPG elements to reward you, you rewarded yourself by getting better without cheats.
