People will always have something to complain about. Especially on the internet. The same individuals who are bashing the game are the first who are going to buy it.

5 is a bad Resident Evil but still enjoyable as an action game, 6 is a complete disaster on every aspect (in my opinion). I couldn't even bring myself to finish it.
Re 4 was a tremendous achievement. I know many people disagree (and their arguments are valid) but I still think this game is a true HORROR game and not necessarily Action-only. I mean... Dr Salvator.... But that's another debate.

Anyway as far as I'm concerned, I noticed the lypsync issues only after I've read people complaining about it. But otherwise it didn't distract me much. They've made the right choices IMO. Now if they can fix the problem, that would be a non-negligeable bonus.
There are no words to describe how marvelous the atmosphere of that game is. It looks even darker than the Soul's games. I mean...that little piggy. That baby cry.. COULD give me nightmares.

I see your point but It's Naughty Dog we are talking about. They take time between each release so that their games are as good as possible. If buying a remastered edition gives them the money to create even better sequels, then I'm in.
Plus, an HD collection of one of the most entertaining and best looking franchises of the previous gen is something to be happy about. Especially for PS4 owners who intend to buy UC4 but didn't play the previous games.

I played Type-0 on PSP back then and I thought it was simply amazing. SE should have expanded this instead of milking episode XIII.
I hope the HD version will sell well so that we get more good FF like this one in the future.

Scores should be banned. I know people like them, because they want a number or a grade to refer to. It pleases them, it reassures them.
But a review is purely subjective, it's not like a school exam based on predetermined answers. You cannot "rate" a piece of art. The only thing you can do is give your opinion. And that could/should go without a number attached to it.

I agree with everything that you said, but then it depends.
I'd rather pay 60$ for a 8-hour intense, thrilling and well written experience than for a super big empty open world game.
At the end, it comes down to quality over quantity, in my honest opinion. (You pay your theater ticket the same price whether the movie is 90min long or 180min long. And the longer movie is not necessarily the most interesing)
