Well people expecting BF1 to overturn COD juggernaut (by name) in just one release were too optimistic in the first place.
especially considering BF4 (though awesome) had an MP-fail-fiasco and BF:Hardline was meh.
I expect BF1 to break BF3 sales figure, (which is huge since we have TF2, GoW4, CoD and stillgoingOverWatch).
COD, however will report less sales than BO3 or AW.
Because "longer cycle" strategy obviously didn't worked for them.
They took more than 5 years in making Quantum Break and it bombed. Not to mention with the TV show and hiring good actors and CGI, the budget would have been really really large.
Make few games with short cycles, and then again work your way up to bigger projects (which requires bigger dev cycles). Just like how unfortunate Ready At Dawn developer is doing. No shame in this.

It's amazing how good support PS4 gets from Western Developers, and then downright exclusive support from whole Japanese devs. No wonder they have so many games on different genre for every kind of people, even in sheer numbers.
Yup. I really don't dislike the light bar like people here do.
But Battery life increase should be priority number 1.

Never really been into 3D platforming, or platforming games in general.
But the short gameplay looked fun, and especially that MUSIC was really really good.

They from the very first day had clarified that BF1 was less of a WarHorror-documentary and more of a fun game.

The Story of Starcraft 1 and BroodWar is far far superior to SC2.
