I don't consider Dark Souls to be a new IP. Starhawk is sort of a new IP though (I believe that most people playing Starhawk don't know much about Warhawk).
I am pretty excited for this game though. It caught my eye with its announcement trailer last year but it has no multiplayer... Multiplayer would work very well in this game and there is a very high demand for it.
Knowing Capcom, I feel like they will release a version without multiplayer for $6...
F2P and I assume that it will release in Japan much earlier than anywhere else. So the only way to play at launch will be with a Japanese PSN. I hope the method that people have been using to get Gravity Daze works. :D
Not wasting my time on this trash and I am very disappointed in DICE. After their crappy job patching this game and making it less "sandboxy" compared to BC2 and their CoD ripped single player and co-op, they give us this? Oh how the mighty have fallen... :/
He might get a Mohawk later. This game takes place over 30 years so the story of "Connor" (what an uncool name) starts and ends with Assassin's Creed III. From the sounds of an interview with IGN, it seems like they maybe heading to the French Revolution next and some factory thing with England. Or they could scrap all that and wait for next gen... Yeah right. :D

I really hope that it is more like Killzone 2. The only thing that stayed great in Killzone 3 was the music.
Killzone has a lot of potential to have a fantastic story. They just have horrible writers. I think they should kidnap a few guys from Quantic Dream, Sucker Punch and Naughty Dog. Guerilla Games is pathetic compared to them (storywise).

I really hope so. I played the Army of TWO demo and I loved it even though it was rated average. I enjoyed it more than most games because of the split screen co-op. I was going to buy it but I may wait for this. :)
I don't know about the next Xbox if Microsoft continues to push this Kinect thing. They may end up as the Wii of this gen (cheap hardware but large install base).
Sony said that they'd be last this gen so I would assume that they are going for another beast machine like the Vita. Since they may not be using the cell, they could make a beastier machine for less money I think.
If the Wii U really will be $300 at launch then the next Playstation could ...

Do you hate all good developers? Platinum makes great games and I really wish The Last Story was on PS3 along with other Mistwalker games. I'm sure many people have Wiis. It looks like it is time to get off of your lazy ass and pull that thing out or buy one.

B2K was being developed before the game released so I would put that under the BS DLC category (even though it was free for me). BC2 Vietnam was the only paid DLC for BC2 and it was great so that would be quality DLC.
If they made DLC for Twisted Metal, development would start after release so it wouldn't be scam DLC. This is like Dark Souls. No DLC was planned but they might make some. These DLCs aren't scams.

Those aren't tough requirements to reach. A game could be 1080p native with high draw distances if it looks like Minecraft. It's just that consoles unlike PC are all the same (by that I mean all PS3s are the same) so devs are able to max them out without alienating customers.
Even when next gen arrives, games will be at 30 FPS. The way I see it, devs have a checklist:

30 FPS?
