I love to see new IPs like Gravity Daze and this game. I guess this will be Sony's Monster Hunter. Let's hope that the Japanese give this game a shot.
I'm really disappointed that there are no Assassins or Square Enix characters. They really missed a lot. I really love Brawl and I'm sure I'll love this game's gameplay but the characters are half of the fun. Hopefully they can improve with some cheap DLC packs and later a GotY edition.
I don't understand why games do that. They don't need $60 then $15 a month. If they need sub money, why don't they make the game free to download and sub to play?
I'd like to buy this but there is no way that I am paying $60 for this. The fact that I have to pay $7 for an ending puts this at the very bottom of my backlog.
Or Ubisoft for not making him care. He seems to care a lot about Uncharted and Troy Baker seems to care a lot about The Last of Us. Maybe Ubisoft doesn't do that.
@rpd123
Do you have a link? That would be a very weird thing to say, especially while they are making AC3.
Finally, I can buy a Naruto game this gen. I almost couldn't resist Generations. Thank god I did.
I wouldn't mind a game looking like this in 720p with 30 fps on the PS4.
This isn't much of an interview. The whole thing is on this page. There is no point in clicking full interview when it is all here.
I could have sworn that they said the opposite.
Liar.
@neoandrew
Why would there be problems on PS3 when that is where they have developed most of their games? They won't have problems developing anywhere.
Their games will look as great as they always have. It was never about the polygons. Its their art and they can convey that on any platform.
I didn't hear about that. I was hoping that we'd get a lot of NCsoft MMOs (mainly Guild Wars 2) on PS4 in the future.
According to wikipedia, this game has already been completed and NCsoft still has that deal with Sony.
You clearly haven't been on the internet for the past five years. Welcome back.
Can't wait for a PS3 beta. Hopefully they have one world wide.
It took GG 4-5 years to make Killzone 2. Killzone 3 was released 2 years after Killzone 3 and it really shows. Naughty Dog does produce some fine games in a timely fashion but look at The Last of Us, that game started right after Uncharted 2 and is still unreleased.
Of course, The Last Guardian is much longer than that but that is because (like Kojima), the director has a vision that must be realized and anything less won't fly. It's better this way.
No it wouldn't have. Most of the people who bought it don't even know about the old style games and May was a very weak month (sales wise).
I think Starhawk sold less than 100k. I was sure that it was because this (much better advertised) game was releasing a weak later but it seems that people just weren't buying games that month.
If what he says is true, then that may mean that Unreal Engine 4 tech demo is how it will look on consoles and whatever it is that he is going on about is on PC. It's either that or he's BSing.
They say that they have been working on Assassin's Creed III since Januray 2010 (2 months after AC II's release) and they say that they have been working on Watch Dogs for 3 or 4 years. I don't know how long they've been working on Splinter Cell but that game doesn't look like it would require as much time.
Ubisoft knows how to rush their games but they also know how to take their time. We should enjoy them while they stay great.
Same thing happened to me. I kind of new but I was hoping that Golden Abyss would let me play without saving. I was wrong...
