I noticed that this game is the most realistic game I own. It really feels awesome to have my sword break because I kept smashing it on the wall. Most games have your sword go THROUGH the wall.
Dacapn has got the right idea. I'm doing the same. Dark Souls is coming out earlier and will hold me off until Battlefield 3 while also letting me take advantage of long weekends. I've never played an Elder Scrolls game but I know Demon's Souls and I love it.
I couldn't watch the prologue too. But this is the same gameplay as what we saw GameSpot play at TGS.
It would work very well on the PS3. Controls are not an issue. I think they had a technical issue but that may have been solved because the last thing I heard from them about it (last month) was that they were worried about the social aspect. I think if they release it for $60 with a keyboard attachment, things would be fine (PC version would be $30 by then). NCsoft is the publisher of Guild Wars 2 and they are good friends with Sony.
I think it will come out on PS3 at some ...
I was going to preorder it today. But Amazon.ca is sold out! How long until restock? I'm going to die if they don't get it back before release! Demon's Souls is no longer enough to sate my masochist thirst.
@Kramun
It's not your fault. They just took everything that made KZ2 look awesome, shat on it, ate it and puked it back up for us to eat up. Let's just say that I had enough after their beta...
You can play the entire multiplayer starting next Thursday (if you participate in the Subway promo and are in U.S.). You'll be able to keep playing until Nov. 13 (nearly 2 weeks after release) without buying the game. Just no singleplayer.
I think their regular schedule would have them release it in October 11 (around UC2 release date). But I guess they think they'll get more sales by waiting until November and how else could they release the full multiplayer a month ...
Who cares about match making. Consoles get a server browser! :]
@BattleAxe
Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 beta had some noticeable issues. They fixed them in Uncharted 2 and I expect the same in Uncharted 3. Those are examples of devs actually using it as a beta. There was also a Journey beta. But yes, most "betas" are the final product.
RAGE perhaps?
All the controller needs is to fix the R2 and L2 (like on PS2). It makes it hard to hold them down. Thank god for crouch on toggle. :)
Other than that, the controller is perfectly fine. I love it and for some reason 360 fans hate it (even though they can't play fighting games with theirs). The size is fine. Just because I can get used to something doesn't mean I have "girl" hands (like the 360 users like to say). It just means I'm better than you. :)
Do you remember how the Japanese react to the earthquake back in March?
Now fast forward to May and look at how the Americans reacted to Osama Bin Laden's death.
Are you honestly trying to tell me that Americans are more mature?
What is it called?!
Does it have all of the videos from regular Youtube?
This will change my life forever! =D
Are you both serious or just exaggerating? I haven't played those games (yet).
I can watch Naruto on my PS3. I used to watch it on my crappy SD TV. Now that I got a 1080p TV, it has become widescreen and the quality is extremely good. Better than what I watch on regular TV. I stream it off the internet browser along with a lot of anime shows. So if you like to watch anime, the PS3 is pretty good (if you figure out the limits of the browser of course).
This is true. I believe Capcom closed the studio down after Okami's low sales. It's sad because the studio did nothing wrong. They made a fantastic game. I feel like Capcom has become the Japanese Activision.
I think it would be in their best interests (and ours) to release Okami in HD. But they refuse to make a Monster Hunter title for PS3 and refuse to put co-op in Dragon's Dogma. So I won't hold my breath.
I'd pay for none of it but I would love to have clans in more games. I just wouldn't pay for it.
What a joke of an article.
The Killzone 2 cloak is just for snipers. It's mostly used so no one sees snipers as they look for other snipers to kill. You can see them if you pay attention though.
I heard somewhere that they are taking their time with Killzone 4. They are taking a break with this new IP but they have a small team working on Killzone 4 right now (for PS4 I assume). They said that they aren't happy with Killzone 3 (they were rushed) and that they want that creative ambition they had with Killzone 2. I guess they mean that they want a LOT more time (like Killzone 2). I remember that Killzone 2 trailer back in 2005. No one believed they could do it but looking back now...
