What I find immature is that the U.S. was thinking of calling in an airstrike on Iran to get the drone back. They are also thinking of sending in soldiers to retrieve it or destroy it. They act as if Iran stole the drone but it was inside their airspace. It was also spying on them so of course they are going to shoot it down and look at it.

They were going to cancel it but Platinum said that they wanted to finish it. I see this game as an extra Metal Gear game and it will get Platinum Games some much deserved publicity while Kojima focuses on a real Metal Gear Solid. I don't understand the complaints with this game. It's not like it affects what Kojima is making and it doesn't take much of his time.
He's trying to get his dev team to be able to make what he wants without him. He said that he likes to leave it to them but he ends up getting pulled back in before he knows it. I hope they don't need his help.
That PlaystationLifestyle article makes it look like this game has been in development since July 2006. GG was working on Killzone 2 and Quantic Dreams was working on Heavy Rain. Killzone 3 came out this year so GG can't be making this. I think Quantic Dreams had 100% focus on Heavy Rain back in 06. So the only explanation could be Santa Monica or someone else...
If they start making RPGs because of Skyrim, that won't be good because they'll just copy Skyrim like they copy CoD. I want developers that actually want to make RPGs to make RPGs like the developers of Dark Souls, The Witcher and Skyrim. We don't need any fakes jumping on the bandwagon (not that there is much of one).
I agree with this. They don't all have to be like medieval. I liked Skyrim because it had a Viking feel to it even if it was medieval. Dark Souls was great because it was very well executed. I just don't want all RPGs to go medieval like FPS's go gung-ho, hoo-rah American.

I've seen that at school. They aren't allowed to cry and those things all bite at once. They're left with a black hand for days and I'm sure it is exceedingly painful.

I think there should be samurai as well. They aren't in many games like this and it would be fun for ninjas to sneak up on them. I think class based multiplayer is always best too.
Anarchy Reigns is a similar game releasing in January from the creators of Bayonetta and Vanquish. So far, that game looks much better but since this game has no guns, I am interested.

Blue might help them sell more to Americans because it is on their flag. I'm not American but blue seems like a safe and familiar colour.

According to http://www.gamespot.com/new... it was never supposed to be sold in Iran in the first place. Some people were selling pirated copies. What is banned are those pirated copies. If someone moves to Iran with Battlefield 3, I think they should be fine.
That's why it's sold out.

I think this looked pretty similar to Raiden. You should know that Anarchy Reigns is a multiplayer action game. So it is very possible for Metal Gear Rising to have multiplayer.
