BF3 also has server browsers, clans and classed based gameplay. This game will replace that disgrace GG released back in February. =D
:)
I think Quantic Dream could do zombies better than anyone else. A little like that Dead Island trailer maybe?
24 was fantastic. But Jack was like Rambo. He did everything on his own while everyone else died. I guess it is fine to play as Jack in single player without having to deal with unreliable AI but I thought the squad mates were fine in BC2... At least the fault line area had some squad parts.
Demon's Souls is better than both and Dark Souls will take over the world.
PS3 exceeded my expectations. I didn't look anything up before I bought it. But my first game was Killzone 2 and coming from PS2 the day before, my jaw dropped. I just played the Street Fighter III demo and realized how ugly that game is. I have it on PS2 and remember thinking it looked great. I didn't know that the PS3 had an Internet Browser and free demos too.
So the last time a new gaming system met my expectations wasn't too long ago. But my Wii is pretty muc...
I think he means that it is like Battlefield: Bad Company 2, except it looks better and has added micro-destruction (sniper bullets breaking concrete). Obviously the pillars of the the metro station in Operation Metro aren't going to break (I think the entire map would collapse). But I think 90% of things should be destructible. I know that White Pass, Rush Mode, Battlefield: Bad Company 2's first mcom stations were in a big building. The walls were destructible but we could never des...
I loved Wheatly too but I guess they could hire someone else (crosses fingers for Dave Chapelle in Portal 3 <--- highly unlikely).
I don't think it is even possible to make it any worse unless they develop it for the N64 and release it on current gen consoles... I don't see that happening.
"Hand on"
Am I the only one who lol'd? :p
I didn't know people liked Bayonetta so much. I think I'll order this after the holidays. I guess it looks like Anarchy Reigns (Platinum's next game) is in good hands! :)
Are all the old features in? Weapons, mission types, modes, etc.?
I saw it at the store yesterday...
GO CANADA!
I'm actually pissed that they're saying this too. You look at their game and you look at Battlefield. It's just so obvious that they are years behind. Now look at their game and look at 2009's Killzone 2. They are still years behind. If they can't add 1 more tank (which isn't need because you won't be able to ride it), then maybe they are years behind because they are bad devs not because Activision is too greedy to fund a new engine.
...That is...unl...
All they need to do is make the player extremely vulnerable and punish them for failing. Demon's Souls does this (makes enemies as strong as player) and it makes the very scary. Especially on the first play through with traps and not knowing how to kill bosses (if boss kills you, you go back to the start of the stage). They need to add that and make sure everything is scarce. Basically if the game is like Dead Space with the stuff above then I think it should be good. But vulnerability is...
Now we see how quickly Valve's opinion can change. I just hope they don't start hating Sony again. >_>
More importantly, what about Guild Wars 2? :)
I never bought a Dead Rising game but I've always been interested. Is this like Super Dead Rising 2 or is it Dead Rising 2 Arcade Edition (Updated game or DLC)?
I played the demo to check if it had split screen. When I found out that it didn't, I deleted it. I'm glad I didn't play it! :p
I wouldn't mind a new world as DLC like six months after release (starting development after game releases). Any DLC would have to be free though. But I'm fine with no DLC. This game will have a lot more content than Demon's Souls (which I am still playing).
