Wii games aren't patch-able. Well, they can be patched using DLC, but the disk has to be optimized to do so. Nintendo hadn't intended to have DLC for Brawl, so it can't be patched.
Conduit 2 will be the first Wii game, I believe, that will be able to be patched online.
It's news simply because it wasn't in the first game. It's not the fact that it's vehicles that makes it news, it's the fact that it's an improvement in general.
For instance: Remember when jet packs were announced for Killzone 3? Sure, jetpacks have been done PLENTY of times, but they weren't in Killzone 2, so it was news.
Besides, even if it wasn't an official page, High Voltage said since the first game they would put vehicles in the 2nd, so this is pretty much confirmed.
Good news. This game keeps getting better and better.
I doubt it'll be GOTY worthy, but it'll definitely be a contender for Best Action/Adventure Game.

But I have to agree with Soda. This article shouldn't have even been thought of yet. Not much about the game has been revealed yet, and only one video has been shown of it. Now, in no way am I saying that if we find out more, we could see that it could rival LBP2 (which it won't), but what Im saying is is that the author shouldn't try to claim what the game is all about and everything it can do when all the details haven't been revealed yet.

You're still wrong. The reason why Conduit is a Wii-exclusive franchise in the first place is because HVS feels that the FPS market is crowded on the HD systems. People would just see it as another FPS. Therefor, they put it on Wii, where the isn't that many FPSs and not that many doing what Conduit is doing.
Besides, the first game sold 500,000 copies (last time I checked, which was half a year ago, so it has more than that now), so no, they're not wrong about ...
