Agree with the review. Amazing concept and gameplay but it needed a little bit more content and diversity to justify the fairly steep price.
It's about time!
Looks great!
For some reason I'm really looking forward to Crackdown 3 above most other games. The reveal trailer looked amazing and I'm hoping it can reclaim some of the excitement and attitude that the first game did so well. Underdog status for sure.
Really great article. I have to admit, it's hard not to take the high-horse approach when talking to someone who has never played the game in question, only watched it. But damnit, after reading your perspective, you're right; just because you haven't played the game doesn't mean you can't love it and experience its awesomeness. It's just a different way of enjoying it.
The first Magicka was excellent, hope the second one holds up as well. Haven't heard much about it.
Sometimes it's hard to see past the fervor that Bethesda's games bring with them (mainly because they're amazing) and I'm sure not everyone agrees but you do a nice job of breaking it down and pinpointing the issues
This is a great breakdown. I can pretty much agree on all points. Really excited to give him a try whenever he comes out.
Great cause, and these prizes aren't too shabby either
Definitely skeptical at first but it sounds like a lot of fun. Didn't know it was co-op either
I totally agree that THIS is the Destiny game we should have gotten at launch. Seems actually like a full game. But TTK DLC isn't simply paywalled, as the article describes it's taking away content that was previously available. Now players who don't have TTK won't be able to play normal game modes that they could before. That's not right...
These all bothered me a lot. Amazing game but oddly it's sometimes the smaller, repetitive issues that sting the worst after 100+ hours. Broken quest? Leave the quest behind and continue playing. Awful horse mechanics throughout the entire game? Super aggravating.
Agreed. Difficult is cool but this sounds over the edge
There really are a ton of games coming out during the holiday. Sticking with Halo 5 as the priority
Zone of the enders blew my mind as a kid
Loved the combat and I was really surprised by some of the features they added. It got a tad repetitive but I hope they stick with this style for the next game and improve from there.
It just looks... so bad
I loved this series back in the day too. It just never reached that height again for me
Really glad they went with the old school designs. The Michael bay versions just never felt right
@Eonjay
They were pretty clear about opening up the path to connect with other consoles and networks in their letter from Chris Charla:
