They do take more risks... as for wider audience.. when I see a chick at a bar eager to play anything on PS3 as opposed to wii. Then i might be convinced on that one. Otherwise, nintendo has tons for kids grownups men and women. What is the list of 5 games women want to play on ps3 again?
If you want the proof of the more risks however... look at their 300 million dollars in losses. As a company they certainly live on the edge. Not to mention the risks of the awfully concieved PSPgo...
guess a vague article claiming 360 will rule this holiday had to show up eventually. There have been oodles of ps3 skewed articles with questionable logic. Guess 360 needs at least one biased blogger to find a reason why their team will win.
The sad part is knowing that the truth is it's gonna be another wii christmas. Like last year and the year before that. I will prepare myself to hear. "sales don't matter!!!" throughout the first weeks of January.

I have one rule in my house when the wii turns on. if anyone or anything get's hurt or broken during gameplay system goes off. End of story. Just saying that at the start of gameplay seems to make people more careful reguardless of sobriety. People need to understand you don't need to make gargantuan movments to play wii games. Not surprising in the least... 3 years of a system dominating all other consoles by a ridiculous margin and a handheld that is infinitely awesome. They do kick ass at manufacturing fun stuff.
guess monday is when all the sony biased articles get posted. Well i'll report it and move on with my life. In the meantime. The picture quality of blueray has yet to sway me enough to absolutely need a player. As long as dvds go for between 6 and 14 bucks then that is the only form of media i'm buying. When bluerays go for 15 bucks each and a blueray player is less then 100 bucks. perhaps i'll move on to the next format. but the way I see it. DVD isn't even close to dead yet.
adding one title that is great does not change too much at all. There are far more unmatched experiences on wii and 360 then sony has alone. This article is pure rubbish. Sony may have some fantastic games... but the problem is the number of exclusive games that reach that status can be counted on one hand. Infamous, uncharted 2, MGS4 and LBP still represent just about 100% of the big names on the console and to me... it's just not enough.

if final fantasy wasn't released. Though that doesn't intrest me too much. The first FF was a bit too heavy in DnD rules and the classes were a bit clunky. Not to mention it is the worst FF if you are looking for character development. I'll wait for when SNES FF titles start hitting vc.

I'm totally avoiding it. From my understanding it isn't story driven in the least and is a fricking haunted house sim. AWFUL IDEA! Pretty much it sounds like if you took just the parts of survival horror where stuff jumps out at you nixed everything else and made a whole game around it where the 2nd player can cue events on the first player. I'm sure it's spooky but not fun in the least. Rather get cursed mountain or dead space extraction.
That kid seems to be awful smart. I don't know many kids who know the word taunting at 7. They should do a series of these for each console to see what kids like about each console.
