Theres some great indies out there. Id imagine most of the older gamers can have fun with alot of these.

Hack n slash is all over. Most games these days are hack n slash though with rpg elements. Look at final fantasy its pretty much a hack n slash.
Theres alot of indies doing some pretty cool stuff still. They are just gonna get better.
Most jrpgs are different though. I personally think way to many action jrpg and not enough turned based ones. World maps are pretty much a thing of the past which is all a shame. Just action action action.
Not everyone is into online multiplayer games so back 4 blood is a big eh in my world.
I still like some open worlds its so hit or miss. I just finished arkham knight and enjoyed it. Except the riddler stuff

Its always flirted with openess without being truly open from the start. Ff10 stopped it and 15 was the only real openworld. I have no issue with not being open my issue is no overwolrd map and just flat out being an action game. I miss the turn based. I know thats not a popular opinion hear but eh im older then most on here i assume. It seems unless the game is fps or action in your face type of stuff its hated.

I seen a trailer for ff7 ever crisis for mobile and not gonna lie it looked more like what i was hoping ff7 remake wouldve turned into. Graphics would be a little better on console but it definitely looked better gameplay wise then the action ff7 r we did get.
Thats somewhat true but the last of us 2 got killed for it on certain sites
