When playstation gets some legit turn based jrpgs ill have faith in them. I dont want more action games with rpg elements.
Funny i read a bit ago on here that someone high up or the president of square said the japanese devs shouldnt try to copycat the western devs. Thats what square does anymore.
Xbox changed until they decide to screw people again. What about that outage that happened a few weeks ago people couldnt even play there games.
The show said it was 3rd party and a vr event. What more do you want. It said this
Hey techradar
If you cared about anything then spreading bs you would see that the whole statement of sonys last state of play stated it was about 3rd party games and vr. It said that. Simple as that
Just sell to sony already. Square is making bad decisions.
Since 360 days.
I gave up on them when my day one og xbox told me my disc were dirty or damaged. Did it to me on gta double pack of 3 and vice city. I did a google search to only find out alot of early adopters had the same issue. The disc drive was trash. I called ms. I think at the time they said 75 to fix it. Really lol. I took it to gamestop got a ps2. Been getting playstation first everytime now. Usually pick up xboxes from craigslist for 360 and marketplace for...
@Imortus_san
It is if ms is really paying said company for priority. Never read if that was true but it sounds like ms
Thats exactly it and i still would say ff7 remake would be better turn based. Atleast give us the option turn based or hack n slash square.
Your onto something though. Downhill since 10. Give me the overworld back to please
Its the younger people. Action sells. Younger people dont have the attention span. For instance a couple guys at the shop i work at. I put them onto dq11. They played over the weekend and came back talking it and praising it and all. Maybe back in november or so. Point is to this day neither beat it or play it anymore. Dq11 is better then ff these days and these guys couldnt finish it due to their attention span imo. Also im not saying all young people but it seems to fit alot of them. ...
@dreadfulhero
Because it doesnt look like a ff game. At all. Setting if anything. The rest of it doesnt. From battles alone
Much on the same page. Even though i enjoyed 10 alot. It definitely changed alot and for me i miss the overworld and othe things it changed.
Little side comment. I am pretty shocked square never came out with a blitzball stand alone game. At one point when i had faith in square and ff i mightve bought it
Ive been playing ff. Since the nes original and ff16 does not scream ff to me. Maybe the setting and stuff but not the actual gameplay. This is an action game aka hack n slash with rpg elements. It screams you gonna be smashing your square button alot.
Its looking more and more skippable the more i see. Damn i miss the heyday of ff. 6 through 10 will never be duplicated. I really hope dragon quest dont go the hack and slash direction.
Maybe at some point ff will give options for old school gameplay or hack n slash.
Traditionally ff was not an action game. Thats why its a turn off for me. Turn ff back to old school with dope graphics and ill be there at the midnight release. Until then ill see ya when its super cheap if at all to try it.
Looked pretty interesting. Come to playstation and you got a sale.
They showed some pretty cool stuff me personally i wasnt interested in much at all but i wont deny it was good.
Ff16 (even though eh for me since ff10) horizon vr. Re4. It specifically pointed out this state of play was for 3rd party and some vr. Sony stated that before the event.
Sone of these chinese made games look pretty cool
I feel 10 was the start of the change with no world map and such and after that. All downhill. I did enjoy it 10 but thats where it all started. 10s story was top notch though.
@ Runechaz
I told my buddy this about ff7remake. It would have been nice if they gave the option to do turn based or action. They wouldve been able to get stats on it to to see how many preferred which mode.
I really hope they go back to turned based at some point but i doubt it. They keep releasing all the turn based rpgs on the damn switch and i jist dont like playing on switch.
I really enjoyed days gone. I will say i heard release was pretty bad but i played it a year later or so. I liked it. I was sad when it ended i wanted more. Had hope for a 2nd one until i read it got shot down by sony at the moment. Maybe they will re visit it in the future.
