Looking forward to this AND an expansion. I need Necrons!!!
You would probably be very surprised how many people who want to play PC games have no idea what their computer specs are, or even what they mean.
The BEST way to learn is to build your own. If you need help, there's plenty of help to be found out in the internets or if you live near one of those computer "boutique" stores, they would be more than happy to help and some even specialize in gaming. Even some Best Buy employees would take a few minuets to explain somethi...
Well, Meat. I don't think you need to know any of this, but I have a mortgage, 2 car payments, a wife and 2 kids. My wife is a part time teacher so in the summer I'm the sole supporter of my family. Don't talk to me like I don't know the value of a dollar. I always think of the family first, and my hobbies second. I'm sorry you don't have the money to buy a decent PC, but you don't have to take out your frustration on other people who can. Thats called the Green Eyed Monster of Jealousy my fr...
"Shut your piehole" WTF dude?
You ever think that maybe he has other intrests and hobbies besides sitting on his a** with his console controller in his hands, then getting bored and talking s**t about PC gamers because he can't afford a decent PC like you?
It's not even a money issue. It seems to only be a money issue to bitter, smack talking console fans. Most PC gamers are the REAL hardcore gamers. There are those like myself who are true gaming hobby...
This...is my BOOMSTICK! Man, I love that movie.
Anyway, absolutely the console market has taken a huge bite out of the PC FPS genre. It's common practice to sing the praises of a console shooter while quietly putting out an equal or sometimes even superior PC version with hardly any fanfare at all.
I think the main reason articles like this exist is the PC crowd is a picky one. We don't need anyone to tell us what we like....we tell you. We turn a deaf ear to th...
You left out:
Sure anyone wanting to play "hardcore" FPS titles with superior graphics, controls and online play.
In other words, most of the console fanbase.
True. I'm not sure but I think Gamestops follow local trends also. The one nearest my house has nothing for PC, but the one 20 miles away has a better selection than all the consoles. Steam, D2D etc. have alot to do with that also. There's not as big of a demand for hard copys anymore when it's easier and often cheaper to download. Steam has some sales that are too good to pass up, Empire: Total War 50% off. Retailers just don't do that.
I hate to admit it, but I've been on the fence about buying a console for about 6 months now. That will never happen for several reasons. First, I love old games. I can still load up a game from 1997 without having colsoles, cables, cartriges/disks etc. laying all over my house. Not to mention I can play all the old console games anyway with an emulator.
Second, It's my hobby. Building computers for gaming is fun and can be cheaper than the price of a new console if you look for deals ...
Thirds....GTFO.
Agreed. Video games are the better entertainment medium anyway, so why kill a great game with a crappy movie? It's puzzling to me how people who call themselves "hardcore" gamers salivate over the prospect of a popular game getting made into a movie. They should be getting fired up over a new game because the movie will most likely disapoint.
That's the most mature and insightful post ever. Thank you!
Anybody know if the game is any good? I might get the PC version. I hope they throw in an extra snowflake.
I agree and disagree. I see nothing wrong with the decrease of young people wanting to learn an actual instrument. In my opinion certain genres of music have been bombarded and essentially ruined by half-assed guitar playing and watered down writing. A good example (not my favorite) is pop punk. I can't listen to anything post Descendents/All like Blink 182 or Falloutboy without feeling ill.
So, my point is. Maybe the proper musical outlet for some kids IS Guitar Hero. Im all ...
Pretty tough, yes. Unkillable, no. The giant albino radscorpions they put in are some tough bastards, especially because they run in pairs. The mutant overlords are not that bad if you get one by itself and can sneak attack it. the ones i hate though are the new feral ghoul reavers. They're super fast and throw radiation at you.
I'm looking forward to this dlc, new areas to explore are always fun.
When I read these types of things I feel like that kid whose parents deleted his WoW account (minus the remote up the butt).
Start the stupid fanboy B.S. in 3....2....oh wait, GWAVE already did.
And Captain Tuttle, (below) you should change that to "sorry Wii/360/PS3 owners".
I second the Beast Wars idea. Inferno was my favorite.
Thanks for the English lesson cgoodno, but where I come from it's common practice to use an adjective (dire) to describe a noun (game). So describing a game as terrible, dreadful or opressive seems like a reasonable use of the English language to me.
Nice one! I just don't get all this Lens of Truth crap. Who cares which one looks better, is it a good game?. All it does is stir up the fanboy hives and brings out the adolecent behavior and comments.
Top 1 idiot fanboy:

You beat Battletoads?!? Jeezus, nice job. That game was f-ing hard. I totally agree with the Samus oh s**t too lol.
