It's not that Fallout needs a break. It's just that New Vegas should never have happened. Next year would've been a perfect time for a new Fallout game, but with NV out recently it seems too soon.
I don't think this is about Fallout though.

Mine too. My brother and I still play the Underdome Riot DLC. The penalty box was a brilliant idea. Need more Borderlands!
I got it in the bargain bin at ToysRus. It had a 6$ sticker on it that I'm sure was a mistake, they honored it anyway. Needless to say, I got away with shoplifting because it was by far the best 6$ I've ever spent.
I hear you danmachine. AoM with the Titans expansion was then, and in my opinion still is the best casual RTS ever made.
When Ensemble got the axe I was truly sad about it for awhile because I always wanted to see an AoM 2.

I will admit, I haven't played Black Ops and probably never will; but I have played both MP and SP on every one before that (I stopped buying them after CoD4). In my opinion, one thing is certain. BF:BC2 MP kicks CoDs ass in every concievable way except trash talking 12 year olds.
They buy them because they think they are good and they are the only games they play.
It's so frustrating to have friends who eat this crap up, but have never even seen Killzones, Uncharteds, Battlefields, or any other games that are far superior. When I go to one friends house, I still have to play the GD zombie mode in WaW! Lame

Not a tough gig really, just crap on a disk, smear COD in it and sell millions. Anybody could do it, its not like Sledgehammer could ruin the franchise.

This is true, however where I live guns are considered a tool as well. Up here in the north we take our hunting pretty seriously and the thousands of $ we spend on our rifles and shotguns prove that, and the vast majority of these guns will never be used to commit a crime.

Played all 3, and by a looong margin BC2 is the MP king. MoH has a pretty good SP and Black Ops is nothing but a really expensive coaster for my beer.
