Just had a closer look..wii can't be found anywhere here in the uk, yet it still selling double the ps3 software and hardware...and even at a preimium price..jeez go three console generation go..
as is guitar hero by activision, which is a massive hit on the wii, and Capcom's resident evil, another hit, as is rayman's raving rabids by ubisoft, as is My sims by EA.
So in the first year, you have one hit title each by Activision, Capcom, Ubisoft and EA...brilliant by any standards..
(the above is just to make clear that I'm not against the wii, cause I was only trying to show that anything can be spun in any given way.. you can even spin the above e..g. see any patterns ab...

e.g. go deeper into the american charts and using past trends see what happens when you lower the ps3 price and sell rate ratio compared to what happens when you do the same with x360, (in case you can't see it, it spikes like a mini-christmas or almost a re-launch sales spike) then add another bump to the sales arc for each major game that industr...
they only have european estimates, when they have latest figures for japan and usa they'll add that in...
first of all, is Vg charts even trustworthy?
second, I think if the math below is correct x360 needs Halo for Europe
and third, well what would have happened if Ps3 had two european christmases under its belt...
Anyway here's a way to see if ps3 is catching up:

Kind of hard to believe Burnout sold 88,000 (PS3)+ 76,000 (x360) copies in all europe + other territories...
VG charts getting more credibility with hardware but they need to do something about software...
It might be halo all over again. Nintendo on top when logic says Microsoft ought to be. Or in this case Microsoft and Sony. If this is true, come April, Nintendo are gonna rein supreme. I suppose kudos to nintendo...

cause I bought Burnout paradise yesterday and it was five pounds more then x360 equivalent, so it can't be just capcom...if it is them...
at least their getting equal shelf space now...couple of months ago couldn't find certain console games in major supermarkets...
