Price cuts come with sales curve to boost sales...thats how economics work. People keep buying them so there is no need to cut prices. Good games sell, period.
Not to say games that get quick price cuts are bad, but many of their sales are front loaded. As soon as sales begin to slow, they cut the price. Not Nintendo's fault that other games slow down much quicker than theirs.
Or there are people who only want the portable aspect of it and would never dock it anyway. Would it not be wise for them to save 100 bucks?
As for a pro version, I think a fully BC Switch 2 in 2022 would be a better option. It will take a year or so for next gen games to catch up to the tech, just like PS4 amd PS3. Also 2022 would complete Nintendo's ave 5 year console cycle.
Well my PS4 Pro is my second console to Switch, which is my main. I got to play DMCV and REmake 2 on launch day thanks to that.
However 90% of my time is on Switch because they are killing it with exclusives right now and I buy all multiplats that come to Switch, on the Switch because I play at home and on the go.

Left is likely the most common because of it getting more wear and tear. The right is pretty much the camera in a lot of games, where the left is most common for movement so it gets used a lot more.

If so I hope theu find another publisher for the game, or it will also be ruined by nickle and diming. Destiny had so much potential and the amount of changes to the first game just to water it down (fk you activision) is sickening. Even so, Destiny 1 still had a lot of good qualities to it. Unfortunately it only got worse with time when Micro transactions took over in Destiny 2.
The drift experienced by the few people that have it with the Lite is a manufacturing defect, and it happens all the time with all electronics. The problem with the Joycon Drift is different, as it takes much longer to happen because it is due to wear and tear. This is a design flaw, and Nintendo needs to address this.

When you are getting several high rated exclusives (Fire Emblem, Astral Chain, Mario Maker 2), even more on the horizon (Pokemon, Luigi's Mansion 3), current gen multiplats on the go (Witcher 3, Spyro Remake, Dragon Quest, DOOM Eternal), AS WELL AS ports of great games from a failed console and fantastic Indie support, it just sweetens the deal. It is only a problem if last gen ports is ALL it gets, which is not the case here.

I am genuinely curious now. My main friends that I played Destiny 1 with tried 2 and quit rather fast, so I never bothered with it.
