yeah it was announced in E3 2007, but certainly Epic did partly factor Halo 3 into that decision. It made it a little easier, how much easier I dont know
no way UT3 for 360 is going to sell like Gears of War. Thats my opinion.

this is win-win for Epic, on one side they do want to capitalize on the hype Gears of War generated on the 360, releasing it later allows them to maximize that and on the other side, by making it a timed console exclusive for PS3, they can soften the feelings of betrayal some PS fans may have felt.
If you are talking about Shadowrun, I think that game gimped a little on PC side to make it "fair". I am glad Epic isnt doing it.
awesome. I finished the single player campaign midnight yesterday and personally it put a very satisfying end to everything and the whole ride was fun as hell. I am playing on Heroic too, I found it hard at first but then because of the enemies and all the weapons its ton of fun. First level took me 1h:45m and I died like 25 times. I will finish the damn fight today.
I just played 7 hours straight on Heroic from late yesterday night to around 6am. Its really awesome. The enemies make the game so much fun especially the Brute Bosses. Hope you enjoy co-op on Legendary. It should be a blast.

these are the same guys who said Bioshock lacks narrative. Halo 3 certainly explains the story better than Halo 2. I am pretty tired hiring the Halo3 similar to Halo2 graphics BS. It looks similar as it is set in the same universe with lot of the same characters and enemies, it isnt GeOW but its next gen for sure.
